I was wondering if the Amplifi-TT has the flexibility to model alternative tuning like Drop D (D A D G B E), or 1/2 down or open A, etc. I believe one of the presets is an octave down. -
Greetings, I'm sure this has been answered so I apologize in advance for the repeat - I've searched several threads for an answer and haven't been able to find a definitive one. My question is can you alter the tunings of the JTV guitars on the fly using the Footswitches of the HD500? For example - within one song can I hit open g, standard, open em just by hitting a switch and NOT doing anything on the JTV? Thank you so much - I'm getting ready to purchase but this is a key feature that I thought was possible...based on what I found, I THINK it was not originally possible, but perhaps a software upgrade enabled that ability. Anyone know how to save alternate tunings from the models knob to the tuning knob from Workbench HD? I can only find instructions on how to do it directly on the guitar. I have several tunings applied to models that I want to transfer to work globally. I've named and saved them in the Manage dialog box, but can't find any way to save them to the tuning knob. I could save them manually, but I'd like to know for future models. (I hope I've made this understandable) Another thing: Is there a way to view what's programmed into the alt tuning knob?

So I'd like to think im not completely stupid, however I got my Shuriken today. charged the battery, finally got to plug it in and it sounds great....while in stand tuning I noticed that when I change either the model knob and selector switch or tuning knobs to something that isn't Standard it sounds terrible. Ok, I thought maybe it just needs some adjustments. Set up work bench, plugged it in and try to play around with the settings/tunings. First thing I notice if if drop the low E to D and play it, no change, however if I play high E there is a change.....? It seems that all of the strings are in reverse, confirmed by changing the A string and the B changes not A.... I've logged a support ticket for this but is there something im missing here a setting I've inadvertently set? All the standard tuning set ups play perfect its just the alternate tunings are completely out of whack. Attach a soundfile and pictures of the tunings in work bench before and after Test.m4a

I have a JTV-69 that I purchased from Sweetwater on 8/18/13. I have another thread where I have described problems I am having with ghost notes in alternate tunings. I have to decide in the next few day whether or not I am going to: 1. Return the guitar - get a refund. 2. Swap out my guitar for another JTV. 3. Keep current guitar and wait for Line 6 to come up with a fix. Here is my question. Who out there has a JTV that they feel works perfectly? (both the models and especially the alternate tunings) Your feedback will help me with my decision. Also, if you want to chime in pro/con with your experiences with Line 6 support, that would be helpful - especially if I choose option #3. Thanks again! Steve
