  1. Hey guys, how do you setup 2 amps? At the moment I only use 2 amps (Placater and Matchless) on the first DSP signal chain. If I put the second amp with the cab on the second DSP chain I always hear the dry signal of the guitar coming through too. So if I only use the placater for example and bypass the matchless I always hear the dry of the guitar mixed in the marshall sound. Any ideas what I m doing wrong. Each amp would have it's own IR on both signal chains. Second problem I have is when I use a wah and a volume boost at the end of the chain for leads. When activating the wah it always activates the volume boost as well. How do you setup a lead volume boost? I'm still using the 2.80 software. Thanks
  2. Hello everyone new to the forum, I would like to know how can I connect two tube amps both in 4CM to my helix. I have one 6505+ and an ENGL invader that I would like to use with my helix. I tried using helix’s fx loop 1 for the peavey--> output L and helix’s fx loop 2 for the ENGL--> output R. At this point everything sound fine at low volume, but every time I increase the volume using the big volume knob I get a loud feedback noise that is not present when only one amp is connected to the helix, maybe I’m connecting something wrong. Thank you for your help
  3. I'm struggling to create what I think is a pretty straightforward signal chain, can anyone help me please? It would be this: Guitar, three mono pedals, (Boost, comp, EQ, etc) into a stereo reverb that then spits the signal into stereo and feeds two ams planned hard left and right. This is a setup I use with my pedals and amps and it's also a setup used by a lot of the modern jazz guys like Jonathan Kreisberg and Mike Moreno. Also, I'm a bit confused by Wet-Dry-Wet explanation on the Sean Halley Helix vid. My understanding of WDW was that the signal was this: Left and right are wet signal only through two cabs hard left and right and the dry signal was fed to a central cab – correct me if I'm wrong but that that was the Bob Bradshaw method used by Mike Landau, Steve Lukather and maybe even Scott Henderson. Can this be achieved with the Helix or am I asking too much? Also while I'm here, I'd love it if someone could explain the thinking behind some of the preset patches as the vast majority seem to be unusable or just plain bad. Apart from that, I'm loving it. Boneyt
  4. I just want to go.. 1. From Guitar - into Line6 HD500 2. Out of HD500 into two separate combo amps 3. run stereo guitar rig.. left signal into a 2x12 combo amp & a Right signal into a different 2x12 combo amp. 4. Just a regular, non-Variax guitar into two regular 2x12 (Non-DT) guitar amps. Thats it.. That's all I want to do. Shouldn't that be simple??? I'm losing my mind swimming in an ocean of irrelevant threads/topics. Please, for the love of God!!! If you can Please, just give me the basic scoop on this seemingly simple set-up... Thank you!!! I'll Buy your drinks for the night if you can help!!!!
