  1. primera vez conectando el Ux1 en la pc.. el monkey no me reconoce el usb, por lo tanto no puedo instalar los drivers.
  2. Hello! So I have a problem, I'm using my UX 1's line input as mono input, I'm recording my guitar amp's line out. I can hear everything well from both sides of my headphone, but I can hear only in mono. I spent like two hours to set one of my tracks to play only in the left, and another in the right side from my DAW, and it's worked from the first minute, but I didn't noticed, because UX 1 sends mono signal to headphones. Checked every settings, can not find anything suspect, basically I can not set too much on UX 1. Already find some similar issues with UX 1, but no solution. Do you have any idea, what should be the problem? I'm using a stereo jack, so this should not be the root of the problem. Any idea is welcome! Thank you!
  3. Hi All, New here, just received my POD Studio UX1 So I followed the instructions (or maybe not??), and whilst it appears the license manager has recognized my computer, when I open Pod Farm it then says I dont have a licence. However, I registered the product online with my serial number and received the confirmation email. I have attached screenshots. Maybe I am missing something. Cheers Dingo
  4. I would like to know if it's possible to connect my Boya BY-M1 TRRS lavalier microphone into the XLR output of the Pod UX1 using a 3.5mm to XLR adapter. I am starting to give online guitar classes, but I am having a hard time making my mic and guitar work together on Zoom. Since this mic has a 3.5mm cable, I'm plugging it into the headphone/mic output of my laptop, but in Zoom I have to choose from the drop-down menu if I want the output to come from the Pod UX1 or from the laptop output, leaving me either with just the guitar sound or the mic sound only. Any help will be much appreciated.
  5. Hello, I've been trying to get my Shure SM58 to work with Microsoft Teams, but to no avail. The mic is plugged to a Line 6 UX1. I select the UX1 as audio input in Teams' settings, yet no sound comes out. Booting up Pod Farm 2 doesn't help. Mind you, recording in FL Studio or Audacity works fine. It's just the Teams that's causing problems.
  6. I updated my Mac (iMac) and Mac OSX to Catalina and my KB37 interface stopped working, Tried a UX2 and same result -- flashing clipping (red) lights indicating drivers not loading. Tech support told me it was a security issue but instructions could have been clearer, so posting them here in the hope they will be useful. 1. Install driver package and restart computer. 2. Go to System Preferences and then Security & Privacy 3. Go to the General tab and look for "Some System Software was blocked from loading" 4. Unlock (so type in password) and click on Allow 5 Select Line 6 checkbox I was told that you should not wait to long (less than 15 minutes) after the restart to do the security setting. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi, When is the drivers expected to work for Catalina macOS? Been waiting a while now, have got red light when plugging it in for the last 3 months. Unless this is an error on my end and I haven't set it up properly, when is the update coming out? Thanks

  9. Hi Guys. Ive had a UX1 since pod farm 1.0 maybe 13 years ago at a guess. I recently tried to start using plugins in reaper with IRs and also standalone Amp sims like Cali Suite by Neural DSP using my UX1 as the interface. But I've run into some crazy electrical noise I've never had before on both of these am sims with IRs loaders builtnit. I normal using podfarm for scratch tracks. I've tried the usual changing cables etc. But I cant figure out where its coming from so I am wondering if is possibly the UX1 itself. Also Is it possible for these super old interfaces to run IR based sounds? Just wondering as if not its about time I bought an upgrade. Asside from my PC components (PC is a pc specialist build) im not sure what else it could be so I am hoping y'all have some ideas? I can supply samples if needed. Much appreciated!
  10. I'm looking for the sound that is used in the intro of The pretender. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBjQ9tuuTJQ) I found a setting for the Line 6 Helix, (https://nl.line6.com/customtone/tone/3689170/) But I am fairly new to this, and am not sure if I can upload this in POD farm. If so is someone kind of enough to explain it to this noob? If not, and do you have a setting for this, could you help me out? (I started recording from home last month, and I want to re-record my first song, upload it with a vocal, drum, and bass track. You'd be helping me better this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGu-D-HXXFU)
  11. Hi My UX1 started recording white noise while recording guitar. This has never happened before. I tested on two different guitars, two different cables, and two different computers. The noise doesn't disappear How do I get rid of it? Sample attached line 6 ux 1 white noise.mp3
  12. I'm having trouble getting Pod Farm started with my UX1. I followed the instructions on setting it up but it never fully opens. I've updated everything and tried reinstalling everything multiple times but it still doesn't open. Also have tried running in compatibility mode and running as administrator. I'm not sure where to go from here and any help would be appreciated. I'm using a PC running Windows 10
  13. Hi, I am am new to UX1. Have been a long time user of guitar port. My computer died, so I got a new one and decided to buy a UX1. I have the UX1 outputs connected to my rig which is a a crate amp and an Ampeq cab. All that is working just fine. I like to play youtube backing tracks, and jam along with them using audacity to record. With my old setup, there was an option in audacity to record 'what you hear' This recorded both youtube and guitar at the same time. With my new UX1 setup, I can't get it to record anything other than my guitar. I have tried every possible sound configuration in podfarm, audacity, and my computer. There is no 'what you hear' option in audacity anymore. I can get the youtube music and my guitar playing out of my rig, but audacity only records the guitar. Can somebody help me figure out how to record both?
  14. I want to play guitar using linux and my POD Studio UX1. Output works perfectly fine, the interface is detected and gives a great tone for everything i play on my computer. However, input from the UX1 is not working. Jack is started and seems to be wired correctly but i get no instrument input. Does the UX1 instument input have problems with linux in general or am I missing something? On Windows with POD Farm it worked. Thanks for helping!
  15. Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone can help. I'm currently using a (mid 2010) 27" iMac (running Mac OS High Sierra 10.3.6) with my guitars going through a UX1, to write and record tracks through Logic Pro X (10.4.7). I use Toontrack products (EzDrummer 2 through a MIDI controller for my drums and EzMix for VSTs to colour my guitar di tracks. I was running El Capitan which was working fine for ages..... then. Tracks are being recorded way too hot, even though I have reduced the output gain on my UX1 and on the track's channel strip that I'm recording to. The resulting wave form clips top and bottom and is way hotter than it's ever been. This happens when I record guitars or bass, so I know it's not the instruments. So I tried updating the driver for my interface, then cables, changed the battery in my guitar as I use active pickups, updated my operating system to first Sierra, but then had to upgrade again to High Sierra to get the update for Logic Pro X to what version it is now. Still no resolution to my recording problems. Is it just a case that my system / computer / interface just getting too old? Have other UX1 had similar issue? Or (more importantly) has anyone found a fix or a workaround. Any help, suggestions or an answer solution would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  16. Hi, I am wondering which version of the Helix would be best for me? I'm mostly playing in my room. Maybe the Helix Navite (i have a UX1, would that work?, my computer is very basic). I'm not that bothered about recording. I only use to jam along with but would like something nice sounding. I play any types of music really, mostly Pink Floyd style though. Please tell me what I should do?
  17. Hello everyone I recently had to reinstall completely all my OS from scratch and nothing survived. No backups. all from zero. Unfortunately the UX1 drivers previously kept on a folder in the old hard drive won't open now, and Monkey line 6 seems unable to reinstall my software. Is there any way to recover my software for the UX1/
  18. Hi! I previously used my ux1 for audio recordings only but now I want go get into dj:ing. My problem is that I can't get my ux1 to work with precueing: I can't send one track to the headphones while the main mix goes through the analog outs. Instead I get the same mix in both headphones and analog outs, simultaneously. I just wanted to check: are any of you familiar with if it is possible to send one track to the analog outs and another one to the headphones in UX1? If it is indeed possible, I will keep on troubleshooting. I'm using ableton but I can choose only 1/2, 1 or 2 as cue out or master out, so the UX1 isn't made for using headphones as a separate output? Whatever I choose I can't hear a separate track in my headphones. In the output config there are two alternatives available: "1 (mono) & 2 (mono)" and "1/2 (stereo)". I have chosen all as active. I guess if the headphones of the UX1 would have been fabricated as a separate output, then the output config would've said: "1 (mono) & 2 (mono)", "1/2 (stereo)" and "2 (mono) & 3 (mono)", "3/4 (stereo)"? Am I right? So I'd have to buy another external sound card to be able to precue while dj:ing?
  19. Hi I bought the power effect plugins for the ux1, sadly it broke, and made my life sad so i bought an ux2. Now i cant get the plugin to work on the ux2. Do i hafto rebuy it for ux2? Cus that would suck a lot. Thanks for the future help! Have a wonderful day.
  20. A jolly good day day to anyone who may read this. Been making demos with my UX1 and an electroacoustic guitar for quite some time using GearBox. Now that I happened to start using a Mac, I just cannot fathom an alternative that would have acoustic amps (can be something reaaaaally basic). YES, I tried googling and since this has to be quite a popular thing, I must be doing it in a wrong way, for the last two days yielded literally no results for me. Sincerely yours, Steve
  21. i have updated my line 6 UX1 to the latest driver 4.2.7.7 from 4.2.7.6 but when i go to "Line 6 audio-MIDI devices settings" i cannot change the bit depth or buffer size. when i select another size or bit rate, it just reverts back to default. the previous update did not do this. i have uninstalled all line 6 drivers and updated to the new one. i had no luck so i reverted back to the previous update. i would like to update this thing! please help!
  22. I have a Surface book with Windows 10 (64bit) and I am not able to install the drivers for UX1. The installer claims the drivers are installed, but they are not. When trying to manually install the inf-file, the error message is: "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device." Any help is appreciated.
  23. I've been using the UX1 on a mac for over a decade and recently switched to a Windows 10 computer. I have the UX1 installed and set up on the new computer but on the mac I was using Gear Box for the amp simulator but I understand that it is no longer available. I am a very casual user and I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on software to be able to use this thing. I've been looking for free amp simulator software and recently downloaded Voxengo Boogex but can't figure out how to get it to work with the UX1. For starters I guess I need to know if Boogex is even compatible with the UX1. If not, any suggestions for free or very inexpensive amp sims that are? If so, how do I get them to work together? Thanks for any help at all.
  24. Hi all, hope you're well. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me please. I'm having difficulties setting up a NT1-A condenser mic through a UX1. I've read through several old posts on this forum but can't seem to find the answer I need. The issue is the volume level from the mic; it's barely audible. The NT1-A is plugged in to the input channel of a Neewer 48V phantom power supply (power into mains), with the output going into the mic input of the UX1. The UX1 is plugged in via USB with the output settings set to 'built-in output' via Garageband on a MacBook Pro, coming through to my headphones. I've cranked the mic gain on the UX1 up to max, pushed the track volume up to max in Garageband and 'Mic 1' input is selected on the mixer in Podfarm. I can mostly hear a quiet, soft hissing noise (presumably the high gain setting) but when I go to record I can hear my voice quietly underneath, so seemingly the mic is on and registering. I've tried clicking the +18db boost on the input channels in the mixer in pod farm, which increase the volume of the hissing and makes things a little louder but something's clearly wrong. I've been recording guitar using Podfarm without trouble, so presumably I'm missing something as I believe other people have managed to get condensers with phantom power working fine? I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how I can fix this,, thank you!
  25. Greetings, everyone. I am unable to get any sort of input with my UX1 after formatting my PC and installing the latest software and drivers. Audio playback works perfectly fine. Everything else on my DAW works except for input from my instrument. PODFarm 2 runs, but no input signal. Help please?
