  1. Apple's policy is that if you acquire an app, free or not, the app should be available to download to any of your personal devices. However, as the app is updated, it's requirements may change and prevent fresh downloads on older devices. Example: If you attempt to download AMPLIFi Remote to an old device, and the minimum iOS version is 11 or above, you'll get an installation error: "This application requires iOS version 11 or later. You must update to iOS 11 in order to use this application." To get AMPLIFi Remote onto the older device, you'd have to first acquire the app via iTunes on a computer, or via the App Store on a device that is running the required iOS version, then download the app on the older device. Note that iPhone-only apps won't appear on an iPad, and vice versa. For our example, we'll use iTunes. Use the search box for the name of your application. Select the app in the search results. Click the Buy or Get button to acquire the app (you don't have to download it). Use your older iOS device and search for the exact app in the App Store or click on the Purchased icon in the lower navigation bar. When you locate the app, click the Install button. After you click Install, you'll see a popup indicating that there is an older version of the app available for download. Click Download to install the last compatible version.
  2. Hi, I want to buy a spider jam. I notice that they were released in 2008. Is the current version for sale in shops still that version? or is there such a thing, spider jam 2.0? I have seen some youtube videos with the 2.0. There is one for sale in the local music shop in Kuala Lumpur that is the authorised distributor but I am unable to to determine if it is an old stock original or a newer 2.0 version. If the 2.0 exists, what is the difference to the original? Thanks!
  3. I highly recommend everyone do this periodically/now but particularly before and after updating firmware, and making backups for firmware updates. Go into the Editor's 'Help/About' section (upper left hand corner of the Editor) and confirm that your Editor version is the same as the firmware version indicated below it in the Editor screen. Do not update your firmware until you have backups from a version of the Editor that matches your current firmware. The Editor version should also match the firmware version that comes up when you first start your Helix. This may seem unnecessary but I think some will be surprised to find that their Editor version does not match their firmware version, even though they executed all the right steps (or didn't ;) ) during upgrading. Sometimes the Helix software must be uninstalled first and reinstalled to get the software to install properly or get rid of stale registry entries or links. You may be using an older mismatched version of the Editor and not even realize it. Especially in cases where the difference between the Editor versions is subtle as in the change between 2.10 and 2.11. Having a version of the Editor that does not match your current firmware can cause problems with your loads from backups in future firmware versions as well as a number of random issues with using the Editor. I wager some users will be surprised to find that their firmware and Editor versions are not the same after doing this check. Update: The HX Edit version that matches your firmware version are not always the same. For example, currently HX Edit 2.52 is matched with firmware 2.53.
  4. Some weeks ago, maybe a month ago, I aquired a Relay G30 set. Since I live in Argentina, I'm not quite sure if they are just out of the oven. Since I have an important gig this Sunday, and I bought the G30 specially for this type of gigs and I wanted to know the firmware version, so I could use it in RF1 mode (I've read it's safer). I made the 1-6 x3 switch change but I've only got a 1 green blink response, which is no different than what I get when the switch reaches to 6 or 1 in this process. I've made this several times, with the receiver turned on and off as well. If I should trust the results, it seems my G30 has firmware version 1.00, but I'm not quite sure. Is there any other way to check the firmware version? So far at home and at rehearsals it has been working excellent, and I wouldn't want to change to RF2 accidentally so I haven't followed the RF change process. I also check for Wi-Fi routers with my smartphone to select the channel I'm going to use to avoid interference, according to the chart given in the Knowledge Base.
  5. Hi all. Is there a way to determine what firmware my Spider Jam is loaded with before I update to v2.09 (which I believe is the latest) - no point in upgrading if I purchased it with v2.09. Cheers
  6. Version française. Deutsche Version. The 1.20 firmware update for the StageScape M20d features a new fader view for enhanced control on touch screens and Artist Presets. ****Please be aware that if you are updating from firmware 1.00 directly to 1.20, the update file will state that you are installing version 1.32. This is a typo that will be fixed in the future and it will have no affect on your firmware 1.20 installation or functionality.**** IMPORTANT NOTICE: This version of the StageScape firmware works only with StageScape remote app v1.10. Please update your StageScape remote app on your iPad when updating your StageScape firmware. When updating firmware, have ONLY the SD card or USB drive that is being used to install the update plugged into the StageScape. This update is available from this web address http://line6.com/software/index.html. Be sure to select StageScape M20d under All Products, click the red Go button, and you will be able to download the Firmware 1.20 update. You will have to download this file and save it to a SD card or USB thumb drive. Insert that device into your StageScape M20d, go to the i menu, Show System Settings, Update M20d, Update System Firmware. The update file will have to be in the top hierarchy of your media device. Firmware install files will not be recognized if they are placed in a folder. Be sure to unplug any other media device (USB, SD card or PC) from your StageScape that is not being used for the firmware update. New Features Bug fixes: Output preset recall resetting output level Minor bug fixes Fader View: With the new 1.20 firmware, the perform mode now has a fader view option on the touch screen of the StageScape M20d. This allows you to view and manipulate levels for your inputs, monitors, global FX, and main mix as virtual faders on the touch screen. You can also control your trim, pan, and global FX send levels with the rotary encoders under each virtual channel strip. Artist Presets: Brad Madix and Daniele Di Giovanni Brad Madix: Rock Kick - Aggressive rock bass drum. Sits in the mids when you really lay into it, somewhat more natural when played quietly. Rock Snare - A "fat" rock snare with a bottom that is shaped using the dynamic eq. Pushes up the low end for that "arena rock" sound. Drum Buss Crush - Crush a drum sub mix. Really pumping compression. Scary on its own, but blend it back in with the uncompressed drums and the whole kit will come forward. A little goes a long way. Rock Bass - Big mid boost to get the bass to pop out in the mix Rock Guitar - Bright and cutting. Best for leads. Vocal - Bright and clear without sibilance using the de esser Brighten up that male vocal without it getting too "essy".
