Hi, First, I will note that I can have my wahwah effect set on/off on a per snapshot basis (that is, bypass or not-bypass, per snapshot -- in my case / in the default case, via the exp-toe-toggle). That is, I can have the wahwah off for snapshot1 and on for snapshot2. Unfortunately, on a per snapshot basis, that is about all I can do with the wahwah pedal settings (this issue may also apply to other effect units, not just the wahwah). I would like to be able to control, on a per snapshot basis, the (initial) position of the wahwah. Further, it would be nice if I could set the min and max values for the expression pedal on a per snapshot basis as well (it appears that min / max are only settable for the entire patch as a whole -- that is, all snapshots must adhere to the same min/max settings for the entire patch). Final note - I tend to avoid pod-go-edit. That said, on the pod-go unit itself, I cannot find the "snapshot bypass enable" setting. I would think it should be editable on the pod-go unit itself, but I cannot seem to find it (I did find it on the pod-go edit software). // Thank you

Hey people, got a problem with setting up the wah pedal on my Helix. My target is to set it up like Jonny in this video: Line 6 Helix Wah settings TIPS and TRICKS. - YouTube So for everybody who doesn't want to watch the video: I want to work like my old Bad Horsie 2. Selecting my wah pedal and chosing the Expression Pedal as the bypass switch on 0% (have tried with a little more % but it doesn't work either). Min Position on about 15%. With that setup it should automatically be activatet when I use the pedal and when it comes down to zero again or below the certain value that I choose for the position parameter it should be off. And here's the problem when I set it up like that: The wah is off in the beginning. When I use the expression pedal nothing happens. When I reach my bypass value the wah is turned on. Then I can use it until I hit the bypass value again. Then to activate it again I have to use the pedal and come down to the bypass value and so on and on. Sometimes when I set my wah pedal up again the exact same way it works as it should until I change something. But most of the time it only works as discribed above. Has anybody any tipps for me?

I have an older POD2 unit that I control with a Floorboard, which includes the volume and wah pedals. This is actually one of the BEST wahs I have heard. Does anyone know an independent wahwah pedal that sound this good ? Or one that emulates this wah ?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting the STOMP, and the only thing holding me back is the wahwah feature. I travel a lot and don't want to carry a pedal. So the question is, does the STOMP's Yahweh feature work without an expression pedal? In other words, if I select wahwah and just play, will it have an auto wah? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm basically a newbie to the digital modeler world and I'm trying to use wah pedal for funk stuff eith full clean tone. I find the wah a bit gainy, i tried to set a lot of parameters but every models of it still add a bit of gain on the top end, which for clean tone I don't really like it. What am I doing wrong? Tips and tricks?

I want the expression pedal to control by Exp2 the position parameter of a wah block going from 0-100% using the full range of the pedal. Instead of this the range is limited e.g. 0-35%. I am using a Boss EV-30 which I connected by a stereo cable. Exp1 should switch the wah off on 0%. I played with the minimum knob of the pedal and all the settings of the HXstomp. Nothing helped. Perhaps someone could give me his wah settings?

Hello Line6 forum, I'm Phil from Lunatic Man's Dream!. I am looking for a effect unit that can deliver the following specs: - Wahwah sound controllable via expression pedal. So I don't need to run audio cable to my pedalboard but only control cables to switch my rack. - I want to be able, to turn that effect off by putting the pedal to "zero-position" OR by an integrated footswitch(like in Dunlop pedals). Depending on the way, the unit makes that possible, I choose a fitting expression pedal. Does the M5 work this way or do i have to programm special midi presets for having the wah turned on or off? Best regards, Phil
