  1. Hi. I am using Windows 10 and have my Hd500x POD installed. I use it to send audio from the computer to my POD to play on top of it and also with the Edit program on the HD500X. From time to time it disappears as an audio device in Windows and there is no connection anymore. Then I have a hard time getting Windows to recognise it again, where can the error be and how can I fix it? Thanks Traducido con DeepL
  2. Some users have reported getting an error message when installing Line 6 product drivers on Windows 10 or 11. The error message will mention that Line 6 drivers are not being recognized or are being blocked after installation. The best workaround for this is to disable Memory Integrity under Windows security settings. You can find this feature under Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation details. See this article from Microsoft for further details: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/device-protection-in-windows-security-afa11526-de57-b1c5-599f-3a4c6a61c5e2 This is a known issue to our team, and for now the best option is to disable Memory Integrity as a work-around. We will continue to monitor this issue for our driver releases.
  3. I have a Spider V20 MKII. So recently my iphone just stopped working and i can't use the Spider Remote app on it to customize tones and try out tones from the cloud. I still have the manual and it says that there's a Spider Remote app for Windows that I can put on my laptop, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can download it, and if I can could I still use the cloud?
  4. Hi everyone! First of all, I am from Argentina, sorry for my english. Here is my problem: I have purchased a Helix Floor the last week. Everything was going OK with the product until I tried to connect the pedal to my desktop PC (Windows 10) using the USB output with the aim of edit my presets easily (its a little bit tedious to do it manually having the possibility to do if from my PC). The problem is I am not able to do anything using my PC because as soon as I connect the USB cable, the OS says "DRIVER IS UNAVAILABLE"... that is, HELIX appears in my SETTINGS as a KEYBOARD but with that legend below (DRIVER IS UNAVAILABLE). Has anyone has the same problem in the past? As far as I know, my Helix has the last Firmware installed (3.11.0), so, thats not the problem as I read in several topics. Thanks a lot to everyone!!! GABRIEL
  5. Hello folks, since MIDI Ox still does not run under Windows 10 I don't have any idea how to backup (and restore) my M13-scenes. Is there any easy to handle software (I don't have an knowledge about MIDI at all) on the market which can do the job? And which MIDI-USB interface would you recommend if you only need it for backups and restores once in a while? Any suggestions are mostly appreciated. Thank you very much for your kind support in advance. Best regards Blue
  6. Hi, I have problems with noise and scratches. I have a DAW; Mixcraft PRO 8 and are using an old Line 6 GX. Windows 10 and WaveRT. The supplier of the DAW told me to down load Line 6 ASIO driver for GX. I cannot find it on the download section. I have the latest version installed ( 4.2.7.7 ). Can I get an ASIO driver for my GX? BR Stefan
  7. Hi, ... the HD500X is up to date ! My headphone is always connected on my HD500X both listening and recording The probelem is this ; when i play guitar on my HD500X the sound is good & i want that sound on the recording tracks ! But it's not the case ...it's too different ! After the recording the sound is very different! The EQ on the HD500X is disable. I use Cubase 10,5, Windows 10 (64 bits) & of course the HD500X as audio interface ... every plugings & EQ are disable on Cubase to get the sound of the HD500X...but the sound is still different after a new track is done ! Yet, I want the same sound ... how to get it ? Thanks Daniel
  8. After Windows 10 update my DAW no longer recognised Helix and there was a huge latency on USB 1/2. After unsuccessfully trying to solve by re-installing Helix Firmware I found a (non-helix-related) post on the web suggesting to uninstall USB host controllers. I did this on all USB Root Hubs and root Hubs (3) and it worked - however if you need to do this you will have to manually reboot your PC as your mouse/keyboard wont work until you reboot and USBs are re-installed.
  9. Gentlemen, I was getting distorted sound on my GX, UX2, and UX8 that so many others have described in this forum using Win 10 and a Cherry Trail tablet. It would seem to play at the wrong sample rate and sounded like some bad 8-bit Atari video game noise. This may apply to those with a Surface tablet too. In my case the problem was with the Microsoft Driver for the "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller". Unfortunately Intel discontinued drivers and let Microsoft take over since Win 8. I downloaded the Intel driver 5.0.4.43_v2 for Windows 7, disabled driver signing and edited the .inf to make it work with Win10. After installing the old Intel drivers my Line 6 devices are working properly even through external USB hubs.
  10. hey i use my pod hd 500 as audio interface for my guitar pro and reaper apps. i updated all my drivers from line 6 but i keep getting this crashes after a few minutes. this is extremely annoying. i made a ticket to line 6 but got no reply whatsoever... it looks like a problem with the asio driver from the pod stopcode system thread exception not handed l6podhd564.sys or kernel mode heap corruption Can anyone help here plz.
  11. Anyone tried to edit the sounds on their POD 2.0 using Windows 10? I've tried to download Sound Diver and Line 6 Edit but neither seem to be available for Windows 10 as far as I can find. Anyone come across this issue, or found a way to hack it? Cheers
  12. Hi, What recording software works well with the Firehawk FX and Windows 10 PC? I'm looking for a simple one, to create some backing tracks. Rgds, Andre
  13. Hi, Was anyone able to use his Firehawk succesfully with RiffWorks, on a Windows 10 PC? Rgds, Andre
  14. I have a Surface book with Windows 10 (64bit) and I am not able to install the drivers for UX1. The installer claims the drivers are installed, but they are not. When trying to manually install the inf-file, the error message is: "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device." Any help is appreciated.
  15. so this problem risen up when ive been using a thing called VoiceMod and the POD UX2 together i believe that this problem rises when you dont have your POD UX2 as the main audio for the mic or instrument, so that being said make sure that your POD UX2 is the DEFAULT DEVICE and DEFAULT COMMUNICATION DEVICE in your sound settings. -bottom right, right click the volume speaker -left click sounds -go to recording on the top -find something called Line 6 UX2 -make it both your DEFAULT DEVICE and DEFAULT COMMUNICATION DEVICE the problem hasnt risen since ive done that and i can freely use my guitar and use a wireless headset because of it. VoiceMod is free but if you want to change effects of your voice you do have to pay. as i said i can use my guitar and hear it through my wireless headset because i use hear My Voice feature thats on it. that being said as well you will need to set the buffer size to the lowest you can go so you can hear it about the same time but its not as good as the ToneDirect Monitoring that the POD UX2 gives but its been doing well for me as I just want to play around. To change the buffer limit -Go to windows search -look up Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices -buffer limit is at the bottom -drag it to the lowest you can go -then click on the inputs & recording tab in the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices and do mic 1 & 2 -then in the ASIO Settings have Default Buffer Size & Default Buffer Depth the highest it can go If you want to hear your guitar with a wireless headset you need VoiceMod otherwise it wont work https://www.voicemod.net/ -Go to windows search -look up Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices -then click on the inputs & recording tab in the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices and do instrument sometimes Instrument & mic 1 work but not always if you have the POD Farm its alot easier to switch back n forth and you should have any problems and you can also play guitar through the mic for people like on Discord can hear -then go to voice mod -go to settings -input device needs to be the Line 6 UX2 -output device needs to be your wireless headset Hopefully this helped some people because i did a lot of trail and error on my side and it just works
  16. I just got a new notebook that operated by Window 10... and it doesn't recognize my pod HD500X even the latest driver is installed ( I installed it through line6 monkey following the installing process provided by Line6 support on Youtube). After I installed the latest driver, the line6 monkey still doesn't find my POD. However, it still works fine with my old notebook that operated by WINDOW 7. what I've done so far 1. Restart my notebook, uninstall the driver, and re-install it again 2. Plugging it on every USB port, there are 3 USB ports in my notebook comprise USB version 3, and USB version 2. Still, nothing happen 3. Install manually without line6 monkey what I've found that when I plug the POD, my notebook knows that it is plugged because it shows "POD HD500X" in "Other device" in "Control Panel".. however it said "Device error" under the "POD HD500X" and they are not working together. The notebook that has problem is "ACER PREDATOR PH315-51-782Q" that i just bought 1 week ago. I just wonder that is the notebook "too new" for the POD ? Please help me solving this problem Thanks! --Bobogillis--
  17. The issue is random blue screens after using the UX2 for a while. The error is BAD POOL CALLER (or maybe BAD POOL HEADER). This doesn't stay on screen long enough to get all the info. (my past experience is this is usually memory corruption of some kind...but not exclusively) I have a UX2, driver version 4.2.7.6 and firmware 1.02, running on Win10, with goshknowswhat updates Microsoft has pushed down recently (two forced reboots this week for updates). Regardless, it's all up to date as far as can be updated at the moment. Also running POD Farm 2, version 2.59. I use Reaper for recording/mixing, and Adobe Audition 3.0 for all other audio needs. The BSOD is totally new and started within a day or so of installing and using the UX2. The setup is as-is for more than a year, except for the addition of the UX2. I also have a GuitarPort - many years old. It's never blue screened. The UX2 was bought as a replacement for the GuitarPort. Installing the UX2 seemed to pull down more up to date drivers (could be just timing as I hadn't tried to update the GuitarPort in a while) Except for updating the drivers and software, which are up to date, are there any suggestions to work around this? I'm assuming it's a driver issue, as any user level code (POD Farm) is mostly isolated from direct access to the kernel where the crashing is happening (that is what the driver is for afterall). (Yes, I know Microsoft is making it hell for audio driver developers with the constant updates, and Win10 in general. Many of us are not happy campers because of this.) Thanks!
  18. Hi there, I have the following setup (excuse the sad ASCII art): PC ---USB---> HX Guitar---------> Stomp ---> Headphones So basically PC and guitar into the stomp and headphones out. I want to use the Stomp as a soundcard so I can jam to tracks, youtube lessons etc. (note I'm not using a DAW or anything on the PC, so am not sending any audio from the stomp to the PC) With the Stomp, there is a 5 - 10 second delay when playing any sound from the PC (e.g. playing an mp3, watching a video). Once playing it is OK, but once I pause,. pick a different videos etc the delay comes back. It's almost as if the USB connection goes to sleep and needs to wake up. I can play audio via my Yamaha THR10c amp (also connected via USB) and it works fine, without any delay. So I think this is something Stomp or driver specific and not related to my PC (note the Stomp and THR10c are not powered on at the same time so shouldn't conflict). Has anyone any idea how I might resolve this? Details: - Windows 10 64-bit - Stomp firmware 2.71 - Control panel shows 1. Line 6 > HX Stomp - Driver Provider Line 6, Driver version 1.0.0.0, Date 09/01/2018 2. Audio inputs and outputs > Speakers (HX Stomp) - Driver Provider: Microsoft, Driver version 10.0.17134.1, Date 11/04/2018 - HX Stomp is the default device in Sound > Palback - Using the cable provided with the stomp into a rear USB 2.0 port - Ryzen 5 CPU and B350 motherboard Thanks!
  19. Just spent a few frustrating days trying to get Line 6 usb drivers for Helix and Variax to load successfully. Admittedly I hadn't connected either to my PC for a while, so a lot could have changed in that time. To cut a long story short, the resolution for me has been to turn off Memory integrity in Core isolation in the Windows Defender Security Centre. Neither my audio interface nor phone had problems, so in my limited sample set only the Line 6 drivers were struggling. Is this a known phenomenon? Should the drivers load with Memory integrity enabled? In both cases the drivers are the current versions (1.91.0.0 and 1.0.7.2 for Helix and Variax respectively). I tried earlier Helix drivers but they had the same problem. My OS is Windows 10 Home, Version 1803.
  20. Hello, I'm using Podfarm on Windows 10 with Ableton Live 8, using a Toneport UX2 interface. When I open Podfarm as a standalone program, I can hear the input and wet signals no problem. However, when I open up Ableton and drag the Podfarm VST onto a track, the podfarm vst pops up but I see no signal into it (from the mixer in Podfarm). To be clear I am getting a signal from my guitar in Ableton (into the audio track), but it is simply the dry signal from the toneport input, unaffected by the Podfarm VST. I can apply Ableton's built in Amps to the track no problem, but the Podfarm Vst doesn't seem to affect the signal. I have tried starting Ableton first right after a restart (just in case opening the standalone grabbed the soundcard and didn't let Ableton use it), but still the problem persists. Thanks guys! Let me know if I need to clarify anything.
  21. Hi Line 6 forum, My question is: Has anyone been able to successfully connect the Razer Sieren Pro with the UX2? If yes, How is this achieved? I've unboxed from new and fully installed PODFarm v2.59 & Line 6 Monkey/ Authorized my UX2 to my PC. My objective is to use the UX2 and PODFarm as a voice morphing/ changer for creative gaming purposes. The Razer Sieren Pro has three outputs: USB, Headphone/ AUX female jack and a DMX 5-pin output with a Y split XLR adaptor cable (one 5-pin into two 3-pin). The Razer Sieren Pro works correctly when connected directly to the PC, however the PODFarm voice morphing software doesn't transmit out through the Microphone. I've browsed many forums and tutorials and have tried the basic adjustments i;e: Adjusted the UX2 dials and enabling the phantom +48V button, tried multiple UX2 line/ microphone ports/ inputs/ outputs with the above mentioned cable/ AUX cable and also an aftermarket adaptor cable (one 5-pin to one 3-pin) , changing the PODFarm mixer INPUT: Mic 1 and tried the various other inputs, enabling UX2 as default through Windows 10 sound settings and disabling all other audio and recording inputs/ outputs. Still no success. Any clarity or result would be much appreciated, cheers.
  22. Hi. I use the red Toneport UX2 as my soundcard on a Windows 10 PC. If I start m the machine, sometimes the device will not be recognized by the system. The meters stay dark, and the LEDs are blinking alternately. I then pull the USB cable and reconnect it again, which usually works. What bugs me more is, that the Toneport shuts down without visible reason. The sound suddenly turns off mid Windows session, the meters on the device go dark and clip LEDs start blinking. If I'm in a game, (Overwatch) the PC gets heavy performance lags after additional 30 seconds and finally freezes. I tried reinstalling drivers and software, but that didn't help. I have the feeling it has to do with the USB ports, or maybe the connector cables. Has anyone had similar experiences? regards Michael
  23. I have a (now vintage) POD 2 purchased in 2003. It still works great, but I would like to interface it with my Windows 10 PC for downloading and editing tones. The Line 6 FAQ for POD 2 talks about software called "Line 6 Edit," but I can't find any such software on the Line 6 downloads. Also, I'm assuming I'll need a USB to MIDI hardware interface; recommendations? So here's my question: How do I connect my POD 2 to a Windows 10 PC for tone editing? And what software do I use? Thanks.
  24. For anyone who is unsure of whether you can use the legacy Variax guitars under Windows 10, I can confirm that you can. I went to the download section and just selected Windows 8 as the OS and downloaded Line 6 Monkey and Workbench (non HD version), ran the installers, hooked up my Variax USB Interface and Variax 500 and everything worked perfectly first time. I had no issues with Java or the installation on the drivers. This statement is valid as of April 2018
  25. Just now trying to get my Windows 10 PC (Surface Pro) to connect to my new (awesome!) Helix. The driver is not working. I installed version 1.87 (the latest version of the driver). I've done a fair number of installs, and eventually did a full uninstall and then reinstall, rebooting each time in between (and having the Helix not plugged in). That appears to be all the advice in the forums available. I'm using Chrome to download, so don't have the issue about driver signing -- I think. In the Windows Device Manager the Line 6 Helix driver shows with an error exclamation point icon. The error text says: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x" I know my way around a Windows PC pretty well (worked at Microsoft for the past many, many years). Any suggestions? I'm dead in the water. Can't do any design work, download anything, update the firmware, etc... :( Thanks, David
