  1. A few days ago I had to change my phone, since the previous one no longer charged the battery. To my surprise, the application of the Firehawk FX does not work with the new phone anymore, apparently due to incompatibility with the new version of Android. This is really frustrating, the application gave access to all its parameters quickly and intuitively. Without it, working with the pedal board is very complicated. I understand that it may seem unprofitable for Line 6 to make the effort to maintain an application for a discontinued product, but for users, the app is essential, and if there's no update, you get an angry user with a product that makes him unhappy. Why make life more complicated for us, the users? Why not offer solutions that benefit us all? You could, for example, develop paid updates for discontinued products. Let's say you offer the ability to get Firehawk FX upgrades for a reasonable price profitable for the Line 6 development effort, and not too expensive for us, the users. I would update gladly, paying to be able to continue using my pedal board along with my mobile phone. On the other hand, if you develops a PC version of this pedalboard's soft, I would be happy to acquire a license to use it. Please think about it. Surely I'm not the only user frustrated for not being able to have the app of the Firehawk FX working, and surely like me, there will be many who would pay a reasonable price for an update. All the best.
  2. Hola. Gracias
  3. Hello, I'm loving my new Pod GO. However, I noticed that unfortunately the drivers are not compatible with Windows 10/11 if you have the Memory Integrity security feature on. In fact, I receive an error message as soon as I plug in the Pod to the computer and the USB audio interface capabilities are disabled. My laptop is a Surface Pro 8, and by default the Memory Integrity option is enabled and cannot be turned off through normal means for security reasons. Since I am not willing to compromise the security of my device, this can only be fixed by the manufacturer making a compatible driver. Are Line 6 aware of this? Any official word?
  4. I have been struggling to get my saved SysEx scenes loaded back onto my M13. I've tried every method but so far, without success. My latest attempt was using a MIDI SysEx Transfer Utility (MSETU) from the Microsoft Store. It does a validation check and I received a message saying that it was invalid as F0 and F7 were mis-matched! MidiOx transfers the data, as I can see the data in the Monitor and the flashing screen 4. However, if this MSETU message is correct, then it won't update. Does anyone know what the SysEx is meant to be, v.v. F0/F7 messages matching? Also, are there SysEx files online that are downloadable, or can someone attach an example for me to try? Thanks in advance.
  5. from the download menu - if you select HX Edit to download and windows 10 you get the MAC version. .DMG file. Not windows. I downloaded the windows 7 version to get an EXE file. Please fix Line 6.
  6. Hey! So I've been dealing with this issue for seriously a year or two, but it's gotten insane the past couple months where it's every single time I start up my computer. Needed to finally make a topic since it's never been described exactly like this for me. Here is a video link to see what's happening: (If there's a more preferred way to share this just let me know please) Dropbox Link for UX2 Hiss Video I will need to unplug and replug my interface in for an unknown amount of times before the issue resolves itself. Sometimes it breaks the driver and I reinstall the UX2 drivers to get rid of the blinking red lights and it works again for the time I have my computer booted up. The noises vary but are similar. Some high pitched, some with a rhythmic pulse like it could be the power source, I have a battery backup surge protector everything runs through. Others sound like a High-Pass is on it, and some are bassy. Never know what you're going to turn the monitors on for and hear. I've tried switching the ports I've plugged into, taking every other plug of my UX2 out and replugged them in with varying orders, turning knobs while having it plugged in and out, etc. I have Mackey MR5s if that gives any help somehow. And I have attached an HTML and TXT file for my CPU info from CPU-Z KYLE-NZXT-DESKT.html KYLE-NZXT-DESKT.txt
  7. We've had some reports of Spider Remote 2.0 failing to launch or crashing on Windows 10 systems. This does not affect all Windows 10 systems. If you encounter this issue, we suggest that you ensure that the latest version of the .net framework from Microsoft is installed on your computer. If it is and you still are having trouble, try reinstalling/repairing your Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable. Some users have found it helpful to install the most current version of C++ Redistributable, as well as both versions of the Visual C++ 2013 version: Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable x86 Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable x64 If that does not help, please contact our support staff at Line6.com/company/contact.
  8. Some users have reported a Windows error message that appears when attempting to launch the POD Go Edit software. This is not an error with the POD Go software itself, but rather a Windows error. Here is a video outlining the process for resolving the error: Here are the links for the latest version of Visual C++ libraries mentioned in the video: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
  9. Hello Line6 Team, I am currently writing an open source software (LGPLv2) to use the podhd 500x under Linux in a similar manner as "POD HD 500X edit". Would it be possible to have the protocol data sheet to complete my implementation? I am currently supporting basic features, i.e. reading and writing pedals settings, but I am lacking some understanding of the whole protocol. Thanks in advance, Aurryon The code https://github.com/StarAurryon/lpedit Note: Protocol reverse engineering is perfectly legal if we listen to the usb port, which is what I am doing. As a EU citizen I would also be allowed to reverse the assembly in the name of interoperability: which I am not doing now as it is harder
  10. I would like to know if there is a remote app that I can use to edit tones on my Spider V 240HC head for windows 10 OS. I used to have an older remote app that worked, however it recently stopped working. I have it for my iphone however it would make more sense to have it on my PC so I can edit tones while I record.
  11. I downloaded the software to my surface but it won't launch. I troubleshooted everything on my surface, all settings are correct, but still won't open the app. It says side by side configuation is incorrect. Curious thing is when I first installed the program, it worked.
  12. Having this really bad experience recording with the pod hd 500.My focusrite broke and sent it to the shop to get it fixed.Meanwhile for a basic riff part I used the pod and duhh the recording stucks in the middle for 2-3 seconds and continues again.Happened everytime I gave it a shot.Researched thoroughly about latency of this device or buffering and couldnt find a single info. If anyone can help me with this lemme know. \m/
  13. I just got an HX Stomp, and I want to take advantage of using the Helix Native live through using my Stomp as an audio interface. Has anybody tried the minimum specs the Helix Native can run? Has anyone tried using those small PC sticks, NUC PCs for DAW, vst, and live use especially Helix Native? How was the experience? Or should I just stick with a laptop, say a 2012 Macbook Pro which can be bought refurbished for $200?
  14. Hello, bought a brand new HX Stomp. It won't connect to my pc (Windows 7 x64). Problems found: - USB Audio Device has a driver problem. - HX Stomp doesn't have a driver. Are the driver available for download somewhere? None of the software provided, in the Downloads section of Line6's webpage, are able to "see" my HX Stomp.
  15. I know there is a general topic for tones and what not. These really aren't tones. In fact they are a lack thereof. These is ideal for those who want to start from scratch or a basic starting point to craft their own sound, or are just too easily distracted by what you get packaged in the amp. Consider them blank canvases. Installation is simple. Just download them to your PC, If you have any tones currently loaded into your Amp, be sure to back them up. And then click "restore," and load the downloaded svl6a file. This will wipe everything saved on your amp, so be sure to back up your tones or banks if you wish to use them later. After you do this, the only way to recover will be to restore a backed up bank, or reset the Spider V back to factory settings, which will restore the factory tones only. I will be adding variations to this idea as time goes on. Here I've taken the liberty of replacing all the tones with the default settings for the USER tones. Basically it's an empty tone bank as the name implies. Spider V Blank Tone Bank.svl6a On this one I've basically emptied out the tone bank and placed all the amps in their own slots for quick navigation. I have done nothing to the settings for the amps themselves, these are the stock settings for them on the Spider V. Another nice starting point to get familiar with what is available on the Spider V. Surf through them easily, pick one and build your sound from there. Spider V Amp Starter Bank.svl6a This idea for this is basically the same as the Amp Starter, only this time we start with the Cabinets. It seemed kind of silly to just use up only 25 slots in the bank so I have included the four mic settings for each Amp. I know that for many it doesn't make much of a difference what mic you use, but they are in there for giggles. I think you need to have your cab Modeling switch to "On" in order for this to be of any use. Spider V Cab Starter Bank.svl6a
  16. Good morning to the whole community. I am a happy owner of HX Stomp that I use with satisfaction as a pedal unit. Recently I entered the world of digital recording with Pro Tools HD 12 to self-produce (or at least, to try) some of my songs. Last night I tried to download the demo version of Helix Native to test it on my DAW and decide whether to buy it or not. The program recognizes it, I can load a stereo audio track and open Helix Native but what I hear is just a dry signal with no effect :( I state that I'm pretty ignorant of the audio recording so I'm probably doing something wrong. My hardware / software: - Pro Tools HD 12 64bit; - Windows 10 64 bit; - Helix Native Trial; - Focusrite 2i2 2nd; What I do is just connect my guitar to the first input of the sound card (INST) and play. Do you have any advice? What am I doing wrong? Is there any particular setting? Thank you! P.S: HX Stomp works perfectly (also as an audio interface) but Helix Native would be easier. P.P.S: sorry for my english :)
  17. This isn't a request, this is actually a solution. Mind you the performance of your PC, will determine how usable it is. I am also pretty sure that this isn't news to some of you, I just haven't found anything yet on these forums detailing that someone else has done this. I have pictured, my desktop, with both the Windows version and the Android version (in a vbox emulator) running simultaneously. If you notice, the Android version (on the right) has usb OTG access to my 240 HC, while my PC version does not. This is because it won't let me share with usb access with the PC and the Vmachine to the same bus at the same time. When I shut down the Android emulation, it gives me USB access from the PC version. What this means is that I can download tones from the cloud, using the Android app, and by saving them to my tone bank in my Spider V, I can then shut down the Android app, and then edit said tone in Windows without having to change from a tablet/phone to my PC. Directions are forthcoming...
  18. Every time I plug in my Helix, i get BSOD. I followed every trouble shooting step I've seen here and when I called, support had no alternatives to give other than the conclusion that the motherboard was not able to support the device. I called ASUS and they gave me a handful of additional troubleshooting steps that were unsuccessful and it ended, after being escalated 3x, with a "Sorry, that device just isn't compatible." I can plug in all my other midi devices. We tried changing legacy USB settings in Bios. Fiddled with the drivers 900 times (uninstalling, installing one at a time etc.) mobo: ROG Strix Z370E Gaming Midi: Line 6 Helix I'm very frustrated as this issue has been going on for ~20 days and I was hoping to use my Helix as my primary source of tones while getting used to my new DAW to force myself to use it more and become more comfortable. For context, I switched to PC after being a 10ish year mac guy because editing in 4k and multitracking was becoming a nightmare on my imac pro and I have a background in IT using windows devices. Many thanks, J
  19. Hey, I have a problem with my line 6 POD HD PRO X. I work in Reaper, when I use Line 6 it pops up to me Blue Screen (BSOD) it is terribly annoying and makes it very difficult to work. I tested this problem on: Focusrite 18i20, focusrite Solo, M - Audio ProFire 2626 and there was no problem. The problem only appears on Line 6, I do not know what is causing ... I also exchanged RAM memory but it is still the same Please, help me : c
  20. A quick note that I hope might be useful to others. I bought a Helix LT this week. The driver software loaded fine onto a couple of laptops but I couldn't get it to install on my main Windows 7 PC. The Helix showed up as a device in "Devices and Printers" but was reported by WIndows as unusable and that the driver had failed to load. It appears that my copy of Windows had loaded a generic USB device driver instead of the L6 software. Anyway, after several fruitless exchanges with L6 support, I found the fix myself. You need to go to the Helix device shown in Device Manager, click on Properties, click on Driver, tell it to "Update Driver" and install the driver manually from the folder: Programs (x86)/ Line6/ Tools/ Driver2 Archive/ Helix. Windows will identify the ".inf" file in that folder as the correct driver. Click on that and you should be good to go. I suspect it's an unusual problem inasmuch as one of my laptop installs was also Win 7 and went perfectly smoothly. Nevertheless, I hope this may help someone. Now I can get back to trying to get the Helix to play nicely with my DT25.......... Andy
  21. Just now trying to get my Windows 10 PC (Surface Pro) to connect to my new (awesome!) Helix. The driver is not working. I installed version 1.87 (the latest version of the driver). I've done a fair number of installs, and eventually did a full uninstall and then reinstall, rebooting each time in between (and having the Helix not plugged in). That appears to be all the advice in the forums available. I'm using Chrome to download, so don't have the issue about driver signing -- I think. In the Windows Device Manager the Line 6 Helix driver shows with an error exclamation point icon. The error text says: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x" I know my way around a Windows PC pretty well (worked at Microsoft for the past many, many years). Any suggestions? I'm dead in the water. Can't do any design work, download anything, update the firmware, etc... :( Thanks, David
  22. Hi Everyone, a few days ago i got the Spider V 60 amp i immediately bought a USB cable to use it with Spider V remote. Unfortunately it says No device Connected. I've tried on multiple computers. I've got the latest Drivers installed. I tried Line 6 updater as well, it doesn't show there either. Same for windows own device manager. I am at a loss and reinstalling drivers and software doesn't seem to change anything. Any suggestions?
  23. Please, Line 6, give us a Windows app for Firehawk FX control? Yeah, I'm sure this has been request before, and probably numerous times. Still, I've got to ask. I've got my old iPad 4th Gen working just fine with the Firehawk, but I opted to purchase a Microsoft Surface instead of getting an iPad Pro. I am more than happy with my decision as the Surface is far less expensive, far more powerful, and it's not an iPad. :) I only wish there was an app for the Firehawk that works natively in Windows. I've tried the Android emulators, but with little success, certainly nothing that was reliable.
  24. Hi Is there any chance of a firehawk firmware and flash update for Windows Vista? Ive already spaffed all my money on this new pedal, and cant afford a Windows 7 pc to update. This renders all the fancy android app stuff useless. Alternatively, can the firmware be updated over and android phone's bluetooth connection? Thanks
  25. Hi there, I use my POD HD 500 as sound interface and it's been a few weeks I'm experiencing this issue: by no apparent reason the sound goes off and the only way I've found to fix this is to restart the computer (I tried disabling / re-enabling the POD as an audio interface, unplugging and plugging it again, both power and USB, nothing happens). If i'm listening to something in Youtube or Winamp, the player stops and can't play further, but strangely, if I'm working in Reaper (using ASIO drivers), I can still play things normally inside it. I have no clue why this is happening, it's the same Windows install for a while, although I'm guessing it's something to do with some recent Windows update maybe. Is there anybody else having this problem? My specs: POD HD 500 Windows 10 Pro x64 AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 4 Gb RAM ddr3 1600 Asus m4a89td GeForce 260GTX 1Tb HD* All drivers / softwares / firmware are up-to-date in Line6 Monkey. * I have only 5Gb left in my Windows partition, need to fix this, but I don't really see how this can cause the audio problem Thanks in advance
