  1. Hello all, Previously I was using the KB37 as an interface and I had lots of tones that I have saved and also bought the Metal Shop pack. Until recently, my KB37 has died on me and I bought the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface as I needed to start writing. Every time I try to use the PodFarm 2 on my Logic Pro X, I will always get the No POD Farm 2 License Found. Using the PodFarm 2 as a standalone would bring this up too. I have already authorised my mac from the License Manager app since. Am I missing something? Do I really need a Line 6 hardware just to run the PodFarm? ps: I am running mac osx Yosemite with Logic Pro X.
  2. Hi guys, Am unable to install driver to connect HD500 via USB to MacBook Pro 10.10 (Yosemite). Monkey states that the 7.3.7 driver is not installed, even after I have installed it using Monkey (using "Update Selection"), and separately using dmg, but to not avail. Any ideas?
  3. Hi, I have upgraded to a newer macbook pro with retina (2013) with yosemite. I now of course cannot get the ux2 software to work....please help!! Tell me there is some way I can use this thing for recording. I am able to use it as an interface with my sound and am currently running my sound thru it no problem (SOUND PREFERENCES picks up them ux2 no problem). thanks, Jeff
  4. Lots of users have been disappointed about the death of GearBox with Yosemite... Me too, but after hours of messing around I managed to install and run it successfully! The problem that I and others experienced is that the installer package will not allow installation on the MAC HDD... I think it's a versioning issue (i.e. the version number for Yosemite is not recognized by the installer). Anyway I found a fairly simple workaround... The solution is a follows: Download and open Gearbox 3.72.dmg Right click the GearBox.mpkg icon Left click 'Show Package Contents' Double click 'Contents' folder Double click 'Packages' folder You should now see 10 individual packages... Install each one Note: If you previously installed other Line 6 software with a newer driver, it will not allow you to install the drivers in this package... You will need to uninstall the newer drivers first, then you should be good to go. Search the forum for details on how to uninstall the drivers using command prompt. Someone else posted instructions on how to do this... They also suggested another driver to use... I tried to install that one first and it wouldn't let me, so I ended up installing the drivers from the from the GearBox package above... Anyway, I am running Yosemite 10.10.1 on a MacBook Pro Retina, with a POD X3 Live, and so far it is working fine... No panic attacks... I was able to create and upload a tone to one of my user presets... By the way, before this, I did update the firmware on the X3 using a a separate version of Monkey that I had downloaded previously. I am not sure if this have any relevance with regard to MAC and the X3 playing nicely together once I reinstalled the old drivers.
  5. So I just bought studio ux1 yesterday and downloaded POD Farm 2 after long time of researching (seems like it isn't be working on yosemite but I managed to download it), Line 6 Monkey, and license manager. The problem is not matter how I set the settings on the computer itself's or POD farm 2, guitar and microphone won't sound yet they are plugged in. For guitar, I thought I'll just have to plug it in to ux1 and open POD farm 2 for it to work, right? For microphone I really don't have a clue, please help me :( Also I can't download GearBox, is that a long term problem for mac yosemite already?
  6. Hi all, I'm going nuts trying to figure out why my computer will only recognize outputs 1-2 over USB audio. It started when I installed drivers on a brand new Mac running the latest version of Yosemite. On my old Mac, it had no problems recognizing all 8 outputs on the same version. I uninstalled drivers and reinstalled drivers and did everything short of a fresh Yosemite install to try to get it to work, but in both my DAW (Logic) and the system level Audio/Midi Inspector, it only shows outputs 1-2. I know another user on here has mentioned it in another thread--has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix? I use multi-output to record and process wet and dry signals without having to screw around with latency issues, and this is killing my workflow.
  7. Hi, I've recently upgraded to OS X Yosemite and am experiencing issues with my tone port UX2. I've installed all the latest drivers and my tone port is lit up as if its working correctly. When outputting music through the analog outputs it works fine however as soon as i record enable audio tracks in Logic or even just open Gearbox or POD Farm 2 as standalone i get a huge amount of feedback coming through, even with no instruments etc plugged in. Just wondered if anybody recognised this issue and if they could help? it would be hugely appreciated as cant wait to get back to recording. Regards Dave
  8. Hi, I just bought Pod Farm 2.5 for my MacBook but I cant install it on Yosemite. It says version 10.5 or higher is required. Anyone can help?? greetings
