  1. Important note ye Helix users. After you backup your presets and IRs and update your firmware and run the global reset (FS 9&10 on the floor version) and do a restart make absolutely sure to shut the Helix down and restart it one more time before you start tweaking your presets. You will notice that the first time you shut down and restart the Helix after you have updated the firmware, done the global reset, and loaded the presets from your previous firmware version that the screen will show that all the presets loaded from your prior firmware version are being rebuilt. Again, this will happen on the next restart AFTER the global settings reset/restart and the load of your old presets. I don't know if this will impact any presets you have modified in between the firmware update and your second restart but it seems like a good precautionary measure to let your restored presets do their final rebuild before you start changing them. You will also want to back up all your bundle, setlists, IRs, and presets AFTER you do the second restart of the Helix and all of the presets from your previous firmware version have been rebuilt (you can do it before if you want as well). Rule of thumb, make sure you get good backups and don't start changing presets until after you can do a restart and there are no longer any rebuild messages on the screen during the bootup process.
  2. Hi, I still have a device with iOS7 installed. Using some little (but official) workaround in iTunes, I managed to download and install the Amplifi Remote App v.2.10. Since I believe that the current firmware 2.50 for Amplifi TT runs only with app versions 2.13 and later, I have the following question: Do NEW Amplifi TTs already come with firmware 2.50 pre-installed? (I just bought one, but it's still in the box.) I just want to know if I could run into any trouble. If they DO come with 2.50 pre-installed, would there be a way to install an earlier firmware version? If they do NOT come with 2.50 pre-installed, which firmware version is the LATEST one that works with app v.2.10? Best, Thomas
  3. Hi. I've had my Tyler Variax, 59p since January :D . I've updated it to the latest version (2.10) as soon as it came out. At the beginning it sounded great but the more time I spent playing it with this version, the more something stood out. So I went out and managed to test it out against an original "Spank" and "Lester". Recorded the three of them and it confirmed what I was hearing: for some reason all the models in the 2.10 version have way too much reverb. I rolled back to previous versions (as far back as 1.81) and back to 2.10 (and even re-installed 2.10 having already that same version in it already) and I still hear the same thing. Has anybody experienced anything like it or knows how to even fix it or turn that reverb down or off? Thanks! Mat.
