I have a problem with my Amplifi 150 amplifier. Every 5-10 minutes the amp reboots, sometimes with a very loud short whistle at full power. Had no problems for several years before, everything worked fine. I updated the firmware several times. The firmware is now firmware 2.60. I did a factory reset after that, but nothing helps. I don't activate Bluetooth, I don't change or edit presets. I use only direct connection to the guitar and connection to iMac 27 computer via USB. Have any of you experienced this problem and how did you solve it?

I've tried to switch banks on my Amplifi 150, using the Bank Up / Bank down arrows on my FBV 3. But I cannot get out of Bank 1 (01A Fidelity rhythm, 01B Lead the way, 01C American Clean, 01D Ambient Delays). When I click the Bank up arrow, it flashes 02A Bank Up, but remains on the previous selection (01A Fidelity rhythm). So to me, it appears as though the other 24 Banks are empty. Would someone be able to offer any instruction. I feel sure it's really simple... Thanks.

Hello all, I have an Amplifi 150. When the amp is not connected to a bluetooth phone or tablet, it has 4 "favorite" presets accessible trough the TONE button. To which bank on the remote app do these presets correspond? Bank 1 or the user bank 25 at the end of the list? Thanks.

I have tried connecting the amplifi 150 to my windows 7 enterprise 64 via bluetooth and the provided drivers in v1.77 do not work. I've attached a screen shot showing as much info as possible. I am running Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® for Windows 7 Version: 20.30.0 (Latest). It is a Dell Latitude e5540. After adding a new Bluetooth device my computer recognizes it as AMPLIFi_150_56. It states This device has been successfully added to this computer and beneath that it gives a message windows is now checking for drivers and will install them if necessary. You may need to wait for this to finish before your device is ready to use. I get the small pop up screen showing Driver Software Installation and within it It does reach out to windows updates and installs: -standard serial over blue tooth link (com4) -standard serial over blue tooth link (com5) -Advanced Audio Distribution Profile(sink) but then fails when trying to install -Bluetooth peripheral device The hardware IDS for this shows BTHENUM\{00000000-deca-fade-deca-deafdecacaff}_VID&00020e41_PID&5061 BTHENUM\{00000000-deca-fade-deca-deafdecacaff}_LOCALMFG&0002 Under Compatible Ids BTHENUM\{00000000-deca-fade-deca-deafdecacaff} ConfigFlags 00000040 CONFIGFLAG_FAILEDINSTALL \Device\000000b9 Install Error There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. E0000203 This is the only device under my device manager that shows with a yellow exclamation. I have all windows updates and my laptop has all the latest firmware installed. I've completely disabled my Symantec antivirus and tried installing this. Anyone ever get this working? I'm a network administrator for large company and have never had this much issue ever installing a simple driver let alone connecting a bluetooth device.

Is there a way to connect music output from device (phone, etc.) to AMPLIFI 150 via Mini-Stereo Audio jack cable? There is an "AUX in" and "Guitar IN" ports that I assume would be the only options...is there a specific converter cable I would need? If the answer is "no", I hope Line6 will add one in future model. I realize "just as speaker" may be a minor feature of this guitar amp (vs. Guitar amp itself!) but they do advertise it's use as a speaker on steroids (which is a nice feature for me). It would be really sweet if a DIGITAL IN could be added, although probably limited users (but FLAC files would probably sound even better). I like my Amplifi 150 but bluetooth connections have always had issues (intermittent disconnect, very limited distance/range) with all devices I've used (iphone&ipad/iOS, Samsun S6/andriod, Windows 10). Not saying it's Amplifi issue, but in general that's my experience). Sometimes it's smooth and solid, but seems prone to "breakage". Another fundamental issue I've experienced with Bluetooth (I can't say I've had this with Amplifi, but other BT speakers/headphones) is "pitch change" where the sound warps/changes pitch....unbelievable this was considered "OK" for music quality (it feels like cheap low-res MP3 marketing of the 90s all over again).

Hi I have been enjoying my amplifi 150 puchased in the UK for over 18 months. This summer I will move to Japan, can I use it over there? Does it support 100V input? Somehow I doubt it, but would appreciate a confirmation and to know what is possible (eg use a voltage converter / transformer)? Thanks, Lio

How can I create a harmony preset with the AMPLIFI 150? I can see the synth effects, but there is no harmony presest. The harmony synth is horrible. That can't tbe the only means for creating harmony. I own a POD HD500X and the harmony efffect is awesome. The AMPLIFI 150 shoudl have a harmony effect.

I am trying to update my recently purchased Amplifi 150 with the line 6 updater. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. The updater tool does not list any devices. Is this common? can anybody point me in the right direction? thanks

I am using an Aria Strat copy with an Amplifi 150. When I strum I get immediate sound, then a sudden increase in volume after about half a second. The guitar doesn't do this with a normal amp. This is really annoying and I'm considering taking it back to the shop. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have had my Amplifi 150 for about 18 months and have a strange problem as of late: Volume tone, FX control knobs are totally non-functional. I can't even change any of the 4 presets. The lights are dead. For the most part, it has no effect at all as I rarely use them controlling all tones and FX with my iPad and presets with my FBV Shortboard MKII It started last fall with the Bluetooth indicator light on the amp. It would no longer light up. No problem as both my iPad and iPhone connect regardless and can control without issue. Last February, I started noticing that the 4 presets on the amp no longer worked. Nothing serious as this amp is for rehearsals and jams and I could stream my music and control the amp functions and presets via iPad and FBV Haven't used it much recently but last night, I plugged it in and lo and behold, no Bluetooth light (expected), no volume light, no tone controls, nothing! I connected my iPad and loaded my presets and used it for my rehearsal without issue yet absolutely nothing other than a blip of LEDs on the presets at startup. No pressing of buttons, turning of knobs, etc does anything period. This does not bode well and would be terrified to use this amp on stage! Yes, the iPad control software and Shortboard work perfectly and there is no breakdown in tone whatsoever. I updated the software on the iPad as well as the Amplifi 150 to see if a firmware update would take care of the lack of controls on the amp itself and maybe fix the LEDs but that did absolutely nothing. Has anybody ever heard of such a problem? I love this amp and the Bluetooth streaming features but will I have a work device 6 months down the road. Any advice? How do I get this fixed? There doesn't seem to be a place for service near Montreal, Canada. Is there some kind of known warranty issue? I have done all the precautions for taking care of the unit. None of my other devices connected have any issues so I seriously doubt it is power. I have a Boss GP-10, Tascam recording gear, Line 6 Soundstage mixer all working perfectly well so I know it is not an electrical power glitch of any kind. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I recently got an Amplifi 150 and it came with the FBV shortboard MKII. When I step on the foot switch buttons it won't switch the tone until the button is released. On other amps I own it engages the effects as soon as the button is pressed down not when the button is released. Everything in the monkey says the FBV is up to date and the Amplifi is too. Any ideas? Thanks

J'ai allumé mon Amplifi ce matin et rien ne se passe, juste un petit "clac"du haut parleur en appuyant sur le bouton de marche/arrêt et les 4 diodes blanches qui s'allument en continu trés faiblement. Pas de diode sur le bouton de volume ni sur bluetooth. Je ne pense plus être sous garanti, mais de toute façon j'habite l'île de la Reunion et je ne pense pas qu'il y ai de reparateur agrée Line 6 ici et ne peux l'envoyer par avion (frais exorbitant) . pouvez vous m'aider, j'ai concert dans 10 jours et que cet ampli. merci

Hi there! I wanted some help on a corrupt install. I installed an update from my phone via bluetooth but the install got interrupted half-way. Now the amp won't be detected by my PC (using the Line6 update software) or respond to any inputs. It just shows all the patch lights as on (A,B,C,D). Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you

So tired of dealing with this. Was totally stoked to see the updated app. I canceled an online add I had to sell my Amplifi 150 and decided to give it one more chance. I successfully connected to the app once and was impressed with the improvements. However, since day one of the updated app I have not been able to connect the app to the amplifi. The Bluetooth works fine, I am able to listen to music through the Amplifi, but I still can not change/edit any guitar tones. I have tried all the normal trouble shooting steps (disconnect Bluetooth and reconnect, reset network settings on iPhone, restored Amplifi to factory settings and restore iPhone 6S to factory settings). No luck with anything!!! Has anybody found this update actually works!?! Such a disappointment! Any suggestions I haven't thought of would be greatly appreciated!

I posted this under help, but to no availe. Has anyone else suffered this problem since the 2.1.0 update, it virtually renders the unit useless. After the update I can save my presets to slot 1a,b,c,d, on the hardware, then use the unit for live work, or not as the case may be. Once it is switched off and then back on again all the tone lights, light up, so I do a factory reset, which then looses my slot 1a,b,c,d and returns then to factory settings, making it impossible to save any presets to the hardware. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY "............................."" Iv'e had the Amplifi 150 for almost three months using both an iPad and iPhone for editing and been delighted with the unit... that is until now, Xmas morning I thought that I would have a practice session, switched the unit on, and all the four preset lights lit up ie A,B,C,D.. and no sound. This was the first time since the 2.1.0 update. So I switched it off, and factory reset it, it defaulted to having the old factory presets and forgeting my A.B.C.D presets, so I duly created a new preset that had no effects, the only thing it had was the "No Amp" from the clean amp settings ( thats what I use for practise), I then saved them to A and B and C and D presets, fine so far.. nope switch the unit off, then back on only to find the the four preset lights lit up ie A,B,C,D..no sound, so I thought right, reload the old firmware back in ie version 2.0.0, did this and repeated my setup to A,B,C,D as clean presets, and hey presto alls well again. Are there major problems with version 2.1.0, and will they be corrected, or is it just that I have a faulty unit, any advice would be welcome.

Hello peers! I'm not really an idiot when it comes to amps and guitars, though Im no Professional either. IVe always used a standard amp, Crates to be exact. My current amp is a small Crate practice amp and today my wife surprised me with some thing I am totally new to. The AmpliFi 150. Needless to say, its not exactly your run of the mill amp. I did manage to get it updated to 2.1 and got my android device working well with it. As a Computer and Networking Professional, that was the easy bit (though I saw a lot of people having problems). So my problem, and forgive me if it sounds completely stupid, but what now? I dont really like the presets much, how do I change that? Is there a PC version of the remote, so you can run it from a laptop for instance? I have a small screen device and its kind of pain. Not a deal breaker by any means, but kind of a pain. Can I plug my device directly into the amp some how? Bluetooth can be unpredictable and I have noticed it drops connection and has to reconnect periodically on its own. Can someone point me to some videos that would help me learn to use the software better? I play metal a lot, anyone point me to some downloadable metal tones? I could ask a thousand questions. Its a kickass amp, so I really want to get the most out of it. Its just a little forward tech than Im used to, Till now its been stock amps and pedals. This, is not that. Thanx for any help! Hatt3R

Hello, I bought a Amplifi 150 but since 4 days now i've a lot of problem! 1- Can't connect to my account on my ipad air (i tried several times!!!) just impossible say: "Failed to log into line6.com" The bluetooth work. 2- On Android 4.4 device with Sony Z2 i can log to my account but can't see my amplifi in the app ^^ 3- On my PC when i open utility i've this message "No Amplifi Devices were detected" I think it's just to much to take on, do you think there is some solution or i have to take something else? Hi all, I have recently got a Line6 Amplifi guitar amp and FBV shortboard 2. I have set the amp up and it works great with my guitars but I am having a bit of an issue with the shortboard. I have gone through the tutorial to set up the shortboard and everything seems okay but I do not get any output when I plug my guitar via the shortboard. Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Hello everyone. I´m new in this forums and I hace a doubt about this amplifier. I´m from Mexico so... sorry for the bad english. The last saturday I bought the amplifi 150, also I have a pod hd500 too. My doubt is... can I use the ampli 150 as a normal amplifier? Just connecting the Pod hd 500 into the input of the amp? Another problem that I have, is when I try to edit a preset in the amp, when I turned off the "Reverb" the sounds go off, maybe I´m doing something wrong. Anyone else hace this problem? Thank you for the time... and sorry for the mistakes.
