The same tone applied to Dry signal and recorded through Floor Unit arent close. Id like to get them close so i can play the same tone Live as recorded. Process i followed. 1.Record to DAW on Input 1 (Floor Tone) and Input 7 Dry DI tone. 2. Drag preset from HX Edit to Native to keep tones Identical Then when i playback they are substantially different, one being tinny and one feeling compressed. Ive tried 2 DAWs, Studio One and Mixcraft. Originally i thought it was that the DRY signal helix records is SO low that the waveform comes out stepped in Mixcraft, but it doesnt waveform seems okay in Studio one. GOing crazy, any tips appreciated.
Hey everybody! I just got an HX stomp in my home studio for all my guitar and bass recording needs. I'm wondering if I can somehow setup a patch to have my wet signal go out the left output and to have a dry DI signal out the right output or vice versa? I know I can do that if I use the HX stomp as my interface but I'd rather not do that. I don't care if I'm wasting blocks because I tend to use very minimal patches. Thanks!
As the title says, when I run PodFarm and put up a signal chain my headphones pick up the dry signal and plays it with the wet, at a fairly high volume at that. I only have a single tone, so no Dual, and I don't have any "Listen to This Device" settings on. I have a sample picture of a signal chain and my recording settings attacked below, and even when I turn the volume of the amp down to 0 I still hear the dry signal from my guitar. It might sound like a minor problem, but it essentially makes creating a tone borderline impossible because no matter what I do the wet signal is getting mixed with the dry and I can't hear what the actual tone sounds like! I heard it had something to do with recording the 3/4, but as you can see I've pulled that way down and I have tried messing with the ToneDirect settings and the buffer but to no avail.
