  1. So here I was, researching amps to replace my aging Fender Mustang 1 and I came across the Line6 Spider V series. I dove deep into the specs and in the end I had to get one. I used all of my Christmas money (and then some) so I could pick one up today. I ended up getting the Spider V 120. Got it home, and tested it out. WOW better than I had hoped for. I was like a kid on Christmas day. All excited and can't stop playing with my new toy. I then went looking for a G10T. I just wanted the transmitter because my new amp has a built in receiver and charger... Well, my excitement turned to disappointment quickly there after. I felt like Ralphie when he didn't get his Red Ryder BB Gun. I cannot find one (at a reasonable price) in Canada. Where did they all go? Is there a shortage? :(
  2. Hi, I just received my G10S and the transmitter is now charging and has been for awhile. Still flashing Red. Does anyone know how long it will take to fully charge? I don't see anything in the manual that indicates this and searches on these forums comes up empty. A response is greatly appreciated. Thanks Hermzy
  3. We have designed the G10 transmitter to fit into almost any guitar. However, we anticipate that there will be some rare cases where the transmitter does not fit into a given guitar. If the G10 transmitter is inserted into your guitar and the transmitter's actuator pin is not engaged, the transmitter will not turn on, the LED on the transmitter will not light up, and no signal is processed. In some rare cases, the guitars active electronics are wired with inverse polarity. In this scenario, the transmitter's electronics can go into a protection mode that keeps the system from being functional. This is evidenced by no output from the G10, even though the transmitter's light is on. In some other cases, such as with the Line 6 Variax Acoustic 300, voltage can build up in the ring of the guitar's jack to the point of "tricking" the transmitter into thinking it is docked in the receiver and charging, also resulting in no audio output. We have found that a workaround to all of these issues is to use a mono-to-mono (TS-TS) Male to Female adapter, such as those shown below. The G10 transmitter is shown for scale. More details about the first two of these issues are included in the attached document. Troubleshooting procedure: Power the receiver with a USB power source. Insert the transmitter into the receiver (this will ensure that the transmitter and the receiver are set to the same channel). The LED on the transmitter should be Green or Green flashing. (If it is red flashing, the transmitter needs charging. Leave it in the receiver until the LED turns steady green. That indicates it is fully charged.) Insert the transmitter into the instrument's jack, turn up the volume control and play. If audio is not being transmitted to the receiver: A. The problem is mechanical if the LED on the transmitter is OFF when plugged into an instrument. B. The problem is electrical if the LED on the transmitter is ON, or FLASHING when plugged into an instrument Relay G10 Guitar Compatibility.pdf
  4. Trying to update the firmware on the G10 (less than 1 week old). I have tried 12 times in three different USB ports on two different computers (unplugging, re-booting, everything...) (Mac El Capitan and macOS Sierra). I get: Firmware Update Failed An error has occurred. Please try again. Etc. Anyone else having this??? Firmware Failure.tiff
