  1. Hello, I want to send the MIDI Clock from my selected song in OnSong to my Helix - wirelessly. After days of experimenting I finally found this page OnSong's website that says OnSong' s MIDI Clock should never be used wirelessly due to latency problems. Since I'm a bit stubborn I thought there might be a way around this, where I can somehow use OnSong to send a MIDI message to the Helix to just set the BPM of the selected Helix Preset without using MIDI Clock. Any ideas if this is possible? Many thanks in advance! Peter
  2. Hello I use midi CC and PC to change preset and snapshot and I use midi clock to synchronise too. When I only use PC and CC it works. When I only use midi Clock it works. But when i use twice together. The helix executes only three message (for example one PC and 2 CC) after that he seems to ignore it. I have check the midi message (with bome send DX) and all the message are sending. My Soft is reaper. I want to test with another soft. Who can do this test for me? Thanks
  3. According to page 49 in the Stomp's manual "Synchrozining Tempo via MIDI", I should be able to synchronize the "beginning" of my modulation effects by tapping the tap tempo button once (e.g. the tremolo wave starts loudest on 1 of the song and not between beats). This works great when not using an external MIDI clock. But somehow the TAP once is ignored when using a MIDI clock and the modulation does not reset / is likely off because I cannot sync the MIDI clock of my controller with the band's click. Am I missing anything or is this currently not working with a MIDI clock? It is specifically mentioned in the MIDI section though
  4. How is it possible that this feature is not part of the Helix? With all of the capabilities. I need to sync my timing effects up with Ableton. Please fix this in a firmware update soon, or I will have to return/sell!
  5. I have a sequencer that I've used historically to send MIDI signal to guitar pedals (digital delays and the like) to set the tempo on the delays to be in conjunction with the sequencer. This was the first feature I looked into when messing around with a Helix for the first time last night and I found that I was unable to send from my sequencer into the Helix and it looks like it's on account of there being no MIDI clock feature. Do you suppose this is because the Helix is designed to the master, not the slave?
  6. Hello there, first post et al. I really searched the forum and internet for an answer to this and i would be amazed if this were not possible: I want to sync a Pod 2.0 (newer one i guess) with Ableton Live 9. Basically i want the Tap Tempo to be aligned with Live 9 to record guitar tracks via audio with a synced delay. I know that i will have to adjust the right type (4/4, 8/8 etc.) on the Pod itself but basically the Pod should adjust with whatever Tempo i am recording a certain song in. I know there is a CC message for Tap Tempo (CC64) but that did not really work and i would really just like to just connect the Pod2.0 with a Midi Interface to Live 9 and strum away without having to build a midi track with sync data. I would also like to use the Pod in a live situation where other devices (2xKaoss Pad 3) are tempo-synced with a Macbook Pro. Is the Pod 2.0 really that old to not support this? Thanks for any help and again: I really did look for this specific question but did not find any conclusive answer.
