  1. Has anyone tried using the Dunlop DVP3 as a volume Pedal 2 on the 500X? I have read that there may be issues with TRS vs TS.
  2. Hi all! I have had the 500X for awhile now and I am really enjoying it!! I've been surprised at how well all of the pedals are done and they really emulate some good sounds of outrageously priced pedals. There is one pedal that I have had trouble replicating though and that is the micro pog. I tried the pitch up and a bass octaves paired together but the sound was unclear and it didn't balance out. Then I paired 2 smart harmonies together (using the major scale setting and one with +6 and the other with -6 shift) and it was better but still not full enough. Both also were shifting the pitch really odd and they were giving me some trouble. So, I was thinking about purchasing an actual micro pog and putting it in the pedal 2 input on the board. I was just wondering how that thing worked in the first place and even if I could properly place a micro pog in my chain whilst using the 500X. Thanks for the input guys!!
  3. Ok. So I bought one of those Mission Engineering Line6 pedals for use with my POD HD 400 Unit. Is there a step by step manual/tutorial online somewhere to help me figure out how to assign the Wah pedal to Pedal 2/Mission Engineering pedal? I was looking around last night into the late night hours and feel mildly frustrated. I had my POD Edit on the screen and I couldn't figure it out. Any help in the right direction is greatly appreciated!!! And if I have asked a question that's been asked a few times - please forgive me.
  4. Hi all, I just made the switch from the TC G System to the HD500X. I'm busily downloading tones and trying to come up with some good tones that I can use in a worship setting. I play in a church that seats about 1,100. My plan is to run my Les Paul studio deluxe into the POD then direct out mono to the board. (Until I maybe get a James Tyler Variax....) My question: I am experimenting with using a pedal plugged into the "pedal 2" jack. I'm using the same pedal that I used with the G System, a Boss FV-500H, which seems to work great. The G System allowed me to turn on effects simply by using the pedal. For example, if I have the pedal assigned to a wah, I can just start sweeping the pedal and the wah would activate. If I stopped moving it for an assignable amount of time (1 sec, 2 sec immediately, etc) the wah would turn off. If I have to assign the wah to a switch then go over to pedal 2, then I will probably just use the pedal on the board with the toe switch. Where this really becomes a problem is when I'm using #2 to change delay feedback or verb decay, then use the toe switch to go back to the volume, my effect will stay at its highest point. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks Dave
