  1. I received a PodGo survey in the mail Very interesting and all, but, there wasn't a question that really bothers me as a user: "What kind of expectation do you have for the future of the device?" Because, honestly, lately, I'm feeling like a have a piece of dead hardware with that will receive maybe just a couple of updates before being ignored. There's always some way to squeeze juice from every processor, but Line6 doesn't seem too interested on doing some more research on the PodGo, or, if I'm wrong, they really have bad communication with the userbase. And it's incredible because this device just had 3 years on the market, so it's still new-ish, but, again, my impression is that Line6 doesn't care too much about it. And...just freeing one FX space would do so so much for the users...but we have radio silence, we're contacted to know what we think, and yeah, I wanted to say what I really think
  2. Hi! I need some help, regarding the technical issues I'm having with my POD HD 500. When I power ON the device, it will display the LINE 6 logo permanently, so, the device won't initialize; I have tried a "FACTORY RESET", pressing the left arrow while powering the POD, but without success. Pressing/holding the down arrow, it will indicate: "UPDATE FLASH". Assuming that it needs a "FLASH MEMORY" update, it simply won't be possible by any means to do it, because: When using "Line 6 MONKEY", it won't recognize any USB connection to the POD, so it won't detect the device. If it doesn't detect the device via USB, and a "RESET" won't work either, how can I solve this issue and update the "FLASH MEMORY"? Connecting the POD via MIDI-USB Interface, the POD HD500 won't appear on the "Monkey's" list, while other devices will. I wonder why this model cannot be updated via MIDI Interface. It simply doesn't make any sense for me; I also tried to use different USB cables, USB ports on my laptop, tried to re-install Line 6 Monkey and everything else., but with no effect). RESUMING: Nothing works. Being a professional musician, I really need to solve this problem as quickly as possible, so I hope that someone out there can help me on this! I will be awaiting for your replies. Best regards to everyone! ;) Hélder Oliveira
  3. Hi, I'm enjoying the LT very much. Thought I would share my MIDI control mapping for the Helix LT now that version 3.15 includes control of the encoders. Hope it's helpful! Nick Helix LT CC Mapping (For version 3.15).pdf
  4. Dear folks at Line 6, please update the Firehawk FX in 2019! suggestions: - improve switching, it’s lagging quite a bit sometimes... - add new effects and amps like you do with the Helix products; I’d like to see POG and HOG effects and some new boutique pedals and amps - improvements for the looper, increase of recording time would be nice to make it useful and also being able to eliminate a recording without starting playback for 2 seconds, this makes the looper useless in live situation. - overall bug fixes to add more stability to the system. I love this product and I know it can do so much more if Line 6 puts some effort in updates.... not everyone wants to buy a Helix..... i know im not alone here, just hope someone at Line 6 takes proper action! thank you for your time and I’ll be waiting for feedback!
  5. May be old news to some.. But with the ever growing list of guitar and bass amps.. thought this may be useful for someone. http://dshowmusic.com/line-6-helix-amp-models/
  6. Howdy all, first time posting. I've had my Helix since about late 2018/early 2019. It has always worked without a problem for the past few years. Recently it started giving me the :-28 and :-33 errors. Of course these told me it was time to actually update the firmware since I hadn't done that since purchasing (bad idea, I'm aware. Haha). I got it updated and thought any freezing or failure to boot issues were resolved. But boy, was I wrong. The issues have since gotten worse with updating from 2.3 to 3.1 It has only properly booted once, and then it stopped working before I finished playing my first song for warmups. Since then, I reinstalled the 3.1 update and it has not helped. I either get the :-28 error and it never boots, I get the :-33 error and it doesn't boot and goes into update mode, or it just freezes before booting up. This most recent time trying again it actually booted to my first preset screen, but was frozen from there and wouldn't turn pedals on/off or go into tuning mode. Please help. Since purchasing this unit a few years ago I've since gotten rid of my entire set up and went all digital. I just want to practice my warmup songs and then play. Lmao
  7. Thinking of getting the Powercab 112 Plus .. anyone have any inkling if/ when Line 6 plans on updating the actual HARDWARE?
  8. I'm interested to know if anyone else using a JTV Variax guitar into Helix experiences issues with the Helix 'forgetting' patch information when Helix updates. This has happened to me every time I've done a Helix update, and even again on the 3.10 update this week. I normally use the Variax mags as my preferred pickups, but on occasion for as our setlist requires it, I set up for a drop D or open G tuning or move standard tuning steps up and/or down. The have to be done with Variax guitar models. These patches will also sit alongside patches where I am not using tunings or Variax guitar models. I find I have to go back in to each of these patches and persuade them to remember the Variax aspect of the patch. It particularly seems to affect patches where I have altered tunings. So, I'm interested to see if this is just me, and I'm missing some little trick in my set up, or if others experience the same, and if they do, why can this not be solved as part of the software/firmware update?
  9. So, I love my POD Go to death, but I can not lie when I say I am frustrated to see no firmware updates since August of 2020. While the package does feel complete on it's own, and I love mine to death as I said, I do feel kind of shorthanded by the fact Helix will probably be receiving updates, and new models for the next 3 to 5 years, while POD Go owners have not even seen more optimizations or patches in over 6 months. Its not something worth throwing a massive fit over, but I am irritated enough to up and just ask what the plan for future support is for the POD Go and exactly what we can expect to see further down the line if anything from it.
  10. I am getting constant crashes when running Cubase 9 on a brand new Windows 10 HP Pavillion laptop (Intel i7, 8GB RAM) The Line 6 is the default audio driver, I've disabled the webcam, other sound cards, tried removing anti virus software and manually gone through and updated all my drivers. The fault is mostly BAD POOL HEADER and the crash log is saying the the LINE6PODHDPROSE.sys driver is to blame. Running Cubase with the standard audio drivers is fine, running any program other than Cubase is fine. I'm not the most computer literate guy in the world, but I've searched Google and countless forums and followed all their advice and the problem is still occuring. Do Line 6 need to add an update for these drivers to stop this happening? Couple of logs for your perusal: On Fri 13/01/2017 00:25:52 your computer crashed crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\memory.dmp This was probably caused by the following module: l6podhdprose64.sys (L6PODHDPROSE64+0x6FBC7) Bugcheck code: 0xD1 (0xFFFF860F3A663000, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF803FF46FBC7) Error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\l6podhdprose64.sys product: GuitarPort company: Line 6 description: GuitarPort WDM Audio Device Driver Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high. This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: l6podhdprose64.sys (GuitarPort WDM Audio Device Driver, Line 6). Google query: Line 6 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (this was the first DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL error, the rest have been bad pool headers) On Thu 12/01/2017 20:35:15 your computer crashed crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\011217-25937-01.dmp This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14A6F0) Bugcheck code: 0x19 (0x21, 0xFFFFCB0B54460000, 0x1800, 0x27101D8527101D83) Error: BAD_POOL_HEADER file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System company: Microsoft Corporation description: NT Kernel & System Bug check description: This indicates that a pool header is corrupt. This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. This problem might also be caused because of overheating (thermal issue). The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.
  11. I need some help with Line 6 XD-V75 Firmware Updates Seems like youtube info is out of date with current Line6 support pages. I think I need to use Monkey - but can't find good instructions on it. I've downloaded Monday versions 1.72 and 1.74 - USB pick list stops at Variax... I don't see XD-V70 or V75 on list. I have several XD-V7x systems (75s and 70s, handhelds and body packs, and want to update to most current firmware. Hoping someone here can help point me to links and/or YouTube that can help. Do I need special USB Cable or interface box to do this? Thanks in advance! Mike
  12. Now that Line 6 is in new ownership, when can we expect ANY form of update in regards to the future of the line? Is there even a team, a person, that has responsibility for it's content? I've had mine 4 years and it feels as if they never cared for the amplifi ecosystem once it went out to stores. Please give me a reason to continue to support Line 6 products.
  13. Greetings, If anyone happens to know the correct answer to this question, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. It would be nice knowing whether or not Version 1.05 also contained Versions 1.01 - 1.04. I own the Spider V 30 and use the Line 6 Updater (although you've probably seen it ... the image is attached) to keep it up to date. While I realize each update states: 'it is highly recommended that all Line 6 users perform this update' it just seems a little odd. Because the Line 6 Updater shows updates dating back to 9/2016 and I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure in 2016 the Spider V 30 either wasn't ready for the market or it was still on the Line 6 'to do' list. Could I blindly do exactly as it states? Absolutely! Will I blindly do exactly as it states? No However, if I followed the directions then later discovered I only needed to install the most recent version (meaning I'd been wasting time following outdated instructions) I'd have no other recourse than to buy a bazooka and find whoever was supposed to update the updater. I'm joking about the bazooka of course, but nobody in their right mind enjoys someone wasting their time. Thanks in advance for any assistance ... Take it easy, Jim
  14. I don't spend too much time on the forums so I'm not exactly sure where people go to share things like 'wish lists' for possible added fx models in future firmware updates.....so I thought I'd add one here! I just watched a presenter demo the Mobius (from Strymon) and I LOVED the 'Destroyer' setting!! It lets you tear apart the regular, pristine signal at your selected bit rate, also lets you dial in or out some 'crackle', and then you've got a tone that sounds exactly like it's coming out of an old vinyl record player!!! I don't know why but lately I've been digging all those lo-fi type effects for some reason. I love the contrast they can give to all the great, clear tones you can get out of the Helix....doing something like that can really wake the audience up! Of course, I'm fairly new to the Helix so maybe there's already something in there like that so maybe someone can point me in the right direction, but if not, that might be a cool model to add in a future firmware update. Keep up the great work Line 6!!!!
  15. So is it officially done as far as development goes? Are we stuck with a compressor after all drive/amp blocks? Are we stuck with completely disabling iTunes in the app if we don't want to have the first track blast out of our headphones when we start up the app? are we stuck having to log into the App every other time we open it? this thing is soooooo close to being a worthy live backup device, but as of right now its pretty much only good for home jamming (which it is very good for), but it seems a few minor tweaks could really improve things.

    2.53 Helix update

So I went ahead and updated from 2.50 to 2.53. This may be a silly question but since the latest update appears to be only bug fixes. Is it necessary to do a restore on the Helix? I've exported my non-factory setlists but clicking "create backup" in HX Edit immediately closes out my HX Edit app... not sure why. (I've opened up a support ticket about this and yes it is the latest version of HX Edit). So assuming 2.53 doesn't have any new amp or effects models, there's no point in doing restore on the Helix, right?
  17. will pod hd series have an update? or driver optimization? any official supporter talk about that?
  18. Anyone found the overall sound improved in the latest update?
  19. Well, Helix firmware and software 2 with new features, amps and effects are more than 3 months old … Will the journey go on and will we get more amps and effects in the feature? Line 6 told us that Helix is not a finished system when the sold it for the first time. And I am impatiently waiting for new features, amps and effect … I hope we won't have to pay for it. Regards, Ulf
  20. It's been 3 years now... Is anything at all happening with the M20D? Any firmware updates planned.. any new patches being developed.. anything that resembles development, evolution, or even interest of any type? Could one of you Line 6 Techs, just one time, throw us one scrap of information on it?
  21. are there any known software updates for my old spider ii 30 ?
  22. I was just thinking about my pedal tonight and thought I would drop in and see if there has been any newer Firmware/s added for my M9 pedal. I see the line 6 Monkey keeps updating, but my question is: 1. Should I load the older M9 Firmware Version 2.01.00 Then Version 2.02.00 then the Version 2.04.00 OR Does the latest Version 2.04.00 have all the previous fixes for the pedal?
