Hello, my apologies in advance for the long story, I have been using/enjoying Pod Farm and the UX2 for years, but lately I had some audio problems with my old UX2, I could not find a new one, so I tried with a different brand (Orange Omec teleport interface), bought pod farm from line 6, opened a support ticket, they de-authorized my old UX2 so that I could use the packs and in the end, the Orange OMEC did not worked with pod farm at all, so I re-authorized my old UX2 (this was my last authorization, according to the website I'm not allowed to more de-authorize/authorize ) anyway... after a few months (and losing money) I have finally found a brand new UX2 in ebay and bought it, so, my question is the following: Can I use my model packs with both UX2 interfaces? ( my idea is to have the old UX2 as emergency back up in my old computer, and the new one in my new laptop ) I don't want to de-authorize my old UX2 ( I ran out of authorizations ), if it's not possible I guess I'll have to save money in order to buying the packs again. Thanks in advance for your answers, and showing me the proper protocol. -
Hi All, I have a problem with Toneport UX2. I use Acid Music studio 11 (Magix software), and I'd like to use Pod Farm or gearbox as a VST. I scanned the appropriate folder int the Acid to see the VST-s in it. So I can find the Pod Farm and Gearbox VSTs in the Acid and can use it in the effect section. I'd like to ecord a dry signal, and use the plugin as an effect. Like this: https://youtu.be/RBMkLxO-E0o When I select the Gearbox or the Pod Farm, I cannot use it. The Pod Farm says, connect an authorized device (however it's connected). Gearbox says, run Line6 monkey, and activate. Of course, my UX2 is activated, all devices and computer is authorised in License manager. My windows an daw is legally purchased :) If I choose Pod Farm guitar amps, and Pod farm distortions as an effect, I can hear the sound changes, but the interface doesn't appear and I could not configured sounds, amp models etc. So the plugin works, but maybe the software didn't "see" the hardware through the Acid. However it works (processing) when I use separate effects in an effect chain... Anybody has experienced the same? Any suggestions? thanks for response. ;) Best regards. András -
Hello I bought a POD UX2 last year and never had problem using it. I had to change my personal computer last month, I installed again Pod Farm 2.55 to use my UX2. I ran the license manager and it authorized my pc to use it. First time I ran POD farm with UX 2 connected,, it open but I did not find ANY presets I had (those already into the software, nor those I created) . I closed it, and tried to open it again, and from then on it appears this message : POD Farm failed to initialize L6TWXY framework (Code 0x8000e00a). So it doesn't open enymore. Is this a matter linked to re-registration on my new pc? Or have I to uninstall it, and try installing again? If it will work again, how can I bring back all the sounds presets that were already present in it?? Thanks to anyone could help me, I can't really wait to use it again! Federico

Hello everyone, I'm having trobule with S/PDIF on Line 6 UX -2. I'm using windows 7, and cubase 5 and motherboard is Gigabyte GA - MA770-UD3... I connected S/PDIF cable on motherboard and on the UX2. On sound manager I put to Default device (Playback) is "Realtek High Definition Audio" and so in Realtek HD Audio Manager. When I play some music on my PC, the 'vu metar' is showing me to something is playing on Realtek Digital Output, but I can't hear anything on my speakers, when I changed to the default device is "Line 6 UX 2" I can hear music on my speakers... So, can anyone help me about this? Thanks

I just bought a used UX2 unit from Guitar Center. Just the unit and the USB cable. Now I'm hearing different stories on how I should just return it due to no CD software or I can download the proper software from the Line 6 site. So I will be using n-Track for the recording software and I have TH2 for the modeling (if I choose). What would I need to download (if anything) to just be able to plug the UX2 into my pc so I can run an acoustic guitar into the recording software? Any help is greatly appreciated.
