jmarzjunior 0 Posted June 17, 2013 The thing is i am planning on buying myself a pod hd. Is there any difference in the sound quality on pod hd desktop vs pod hd500 vs pod hd pro?

TheRealZap 7,337 Posted June 17, 2013 everything is based off of the same digital models, so the quality is consistent, The inputs and outputs are the real difference. i'd probably say the hd500 is the best value if you need a floorboard... that and it's got the majority of the I/O options that the pro has. TheRealZap 7,337 Posted June 17, 2013 input and output... for example the desktop model does not have a variax in, aux in, or l6link, or xlr out... all of these are part of the hd500 and the pro (which also has phantom power for mics, spdif digital in/out, and a dry out)
