tomochin
Please help me, I use POD studio UX1 for recording my guitar without using plugin POD Farm, BUT the sound output of my guitar is really bad, like a sound recording without using an audio interface. Any solution?? Tks before..
Triryche
What are you using to record? If you do not use POD Farm or some other modeling, you are only going to capture the weak unprocessed guitar signal. Typically you need some form of amplification for this signal. tomochin
hmm, i see.. FYI, before i use line 6, i use sound card on board for recording and use Amplitube 3 plugin, the guitar sound is good . So i try to use ux1 for better recording quality, but there are no significant differences in recording quality, although i use POD Farm . Why? I think by using ux1 the recording quality should be better. btw i use FL Studio.
fflbrgst
I think you are confused on the use of your equipment. The UX1 is an audio interface, it simply (only) converts your guitar's analog audio signal to digital, which yo uthen route to your DAW or to a stand-alone modeling software. The A-D conversion from the UX1 will be better than plugging your guitar with adapters into the line-in or mic input on your computer's soundcard. Once you have the signal in your DAW, you use PodFarm or Amplitube, or any other plugin to modify the raw guitar sound.
