Having trouble taking the back panel off my DT 112 cab...

Recommended Posts

I removed the screws and it's sucked in there pretty tight. Won't budge. Any advice or tips to help me remove the back panel without scratching or denting the tolex would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yea, that is a real pain to get out...Mine too was stuck pretty good...I used a wide blade chisel to pry with...used a little wood block to keep the tolex from getting too messed up...But I messed mine up a wee bit...

I was in the same boat too. A very thin putty knife can be wedged in there to loosen things up. It can be difficult to get that amp out especially without damaging the Tolex. When you want to pick up a hammer out of frustration .... it's time to stop ... lol.
