Leadbritches1 Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Hi All Sorry if this has been covered. Just purchased Spider 150 and looking for a foot controller and saw the Firehawk FX. My question is there any point in buying the pedal board as the amp has all the effects so would it be a case of doubling up or should I just get a basic controller for the amp? fflbrgst Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Looks like the Firehawk is the next generation HD500, so as such, it's a stand-alone device - you could use it with your amp, but if you are using the Firehawk's FX, then you would most likely only use a clean setting on the amp. Are you going to be using the amp live? Will you need to be able to change FX/sounds quickly between songs or during songs?
