Love all the products but I am thinking of either purchasing a Pod HD500X or Firehawk HD. I am well aware of the power of the Pod HD500x and the Variax, being able to change the type of guitar based on the patch and such. My question is will this functionality be built into the Firehawk HD? Well that's a good question as it seems they haven't released the frigging manual or the remote app to see what it does. WTF? Anyways, clearly the Variax connection capabilities are built in to the Firehawk FX. What we can't tell for certain is if all the functionality of the HD500 is carried over such as the ability to control the JTV models, tuning, etc on a patch to patch basis.
