voshua1234 Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 I just recently bought this locally and I haven't been able to use it at all. I got it home and I can't figure out how to use it at all. I've gone through everything on this forum that it could possibly be. I restored everything to factory preset, reflash and firmware and still no luck. After spending over 6 hours trying to figure it out, I held the tuner button to see if it was even receiving any signal from my guitar at all and (of course) it wasn't. PLEASE HELP!!!! I checked all of the inputs and outputs to see if any of them were muted, and I don't think either one of those are the problem, but I've never messed with any equipment like this so I could be wrong. silverhead Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 First step - make sure that Guitar is specified as the Input for Tone 1, and retest the tuner. The device is designed so that the tuner works only with Tone 1. If you see that the tuner is receiving a signal, disengage it and use headphones to see if you can hear any sound. Also, double check your patch cord, and any batteries in your guitar if it happens to need them. Please report back. After eliminating the obvious we can begin next steps in the troubleshooting.
