N_Wallen
I have a Flextone II Plus and I'm considering on removing the chassis and installing it in a smaller cabinet to function as a poor man's POD. I plan on using the headphone jack but if I should inadvertantly power it up without a speaker connected. will that cause a problem? Thanks. phil_m
It's not a problem running a solid state amp without a speaker connected. You'll be fine.
N_Wallen
Thanks. I knew that was a general truism with solid state amps but just wanted a sanity check before I pressed on. dannyboy3
Hi all! I have a secondary question to this issue regarding my Flextone III XL... If Flextones are ok being run without a speaker load, can I disconnect both the internal speakers and safely connect an 8ohm cab to just ONE of the rear outputs? (This is so I can just hear the sound from the cab only - rather than one of the internal speakers still being active.) Cheers
