spiderdudley
I thought I saw on another model that if you boot up while holding down the "clean" button you can get the model without effects. Can this be done with the Spider IV 120?
fflbrgst
You don't have a 'Clean' button on the Spider IV 120. If you hold down the 'A' button when turning it on, you will reset all your presets to the factory conditions.
natth
Press TAP, when turn on the Spider. Now you're in TEST MODE, in this, no model amp, no Smart FX, direct signal for input.

Wicked! The single thing I dislike most about this amp is the inability to disable the amp model. Would have been nice to have effects too; but I can work with this. Thanks! ps. if anyone's looking for features for revision 2.1 of the ROMs, a "No Amp" amp would be really really nice. Thanks.
BowerR64
Whats this "ROMs" thing you speak of? have there been rom updates for these amps?
psarkissian
"... have there been rom updates for these amps?"--- No. There is Spider IV Edit, and Flash. Check the Downloads section what's available,... http://line6.com/software/index.html ... and follow the prompts.
