How To Set Asio Sample Rate

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I am having a difficult time figuring out how to set the sample rate for my POD HD Desktop to 96 kHz. Is this something that is handled by the DAW itself (I use Reaper)?

You use Line 6 Audo-MIDI Devices utility. You will find it in the Control Panel of your PC (not sure where it sits on the Mac).

Hi jooshy58. I was looking for the answer to this question myself and there seems to be a confusion with how we expect pod HD to operate. here is what i found in the advanced user manual for pod hd (https://www.music-station.eu/kategorie/anleitungen/pod_hd_bean_pod_hd_advanced_guide.pdf):

"Sample Rate Converter Active: You’ll see this indicator light up whenever the

device is operating at a sample rate other than its native 48kHz rate. In addition to 48kHz,
POD HD supports 44.1kHz, 88.2kHz and 96kHz rates by utilizing an internal sample rate
converter. Please check your specific software’s documentation for details on configuring
its audio sample rate."

I suppose this means you would not be able to switch it to the 96kHz mode the way suggested above. Let me know if there is other solution to this (mambakite@gmail.com).

Cheers,
Anton
