jpmull
I've been kinda looking for an option for bringing my Firehawk to Jams since I don't have an amp right now. This might be a fun and portable option to connect to the Firehawk. Stereo, Full range, can be battery operated, app to control it. Thoughts? http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2015/06/26/mackie-freeplay-personal-pa-ships/ JP
mcbeddall
£500 for an 8 inch speaker? Did I read that right? I'm not sure you'd get it loud enough for a gig or rehearsal I'd definitely recommend trying one first, your not too many dollars away from a stagesource lt2 or l3m (which will do stereo) and they will have you covered for any kind of gig, rehearsal or whatever, A cheaper option would be a fender mustang iv amp, that will do stereo and be plenty loud enough and sound great for $200 used
stevekc
I get excellent results with a Roland Cube Street EX - plenty loud, battery powered 50 Watts (25 W + 25 W). Just feed the Stereo Line Inputs http://www.rolandus.com/products/cube_street_ex/
