Powering G55 with IEC?

Hello!

I have a G55 wireless system in my rack. Currently, everything is powered by a Samson power conditioner which plugs into the wall. The inputs on the Samson are female IEC connections.

Coming out of the G55 is DC to a plug. So at the moment I'm having to plug it into a 1U plug socket extension cable which leads to a male IEC connection. I was hoping to just go direct from the G55 to the Samson though. I bought an adaptor (DC to IEC) which works for my Shure PSM200 In Ear Monitor system, but doesn't seem to work for the G55.

Is it possible? Is there a specific bit of kit I need to achieve this?

Thanks in advance for your help and patience!

Alex

I'd also like to know of any solution to this.

And furthermore, wonder why it wasn't designed & built with an IEC socket (like the G90) as well as a 9V barrel socket considering it is intended for rack setups as well as "amp top".
