The same thing just happened to me so I came here for help and the advice in this post did it..........What causes the hd500 to malfunction like that? toneman2121 Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 are you sure you are holding the correct button? the navigation key is the one to the right of the screen. it has up, down, left and right. press the left arrow then turn on the pod. Been Line6 user since 2006, have had xt, x3 and now this, awesome sound but I must admit hardware sucks on my xt, x3 and hd both bugged. Always up to date with latest firmware. I guess it's time to switch, maybe i got all the bad apples from the production line. Oh, even my variax 500 couldn't be seen by any of the 3pedals.
