buford Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Greetings Gents, I play in a Acoustic Rock band and I have a Takamine LTD guitar and play through a Fishman loud box mini. I have an HD300 I have been using for effects (chorus, delay etc..) I use the volume pedal for solos but have been by passing and only using the effects. I was using the HD300 out a DI and running directly to house sound via XLR cable. Its sounds pretty good. I just purchased a loud box mini fishman amp and running the HD300 to the amp and the AMP via XLR out to the snake which has a much better clean sound. Does anybody have some good tone patches for an acoustic guitar? Clean to start than open to others? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FlyingSquirrel Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 I would start by looking on Custom Tone, and specifically targeting the presets with the highest ratings. There really are so many to choose from, but the beauty is, you can try downloading dozens and dozens of them (I'd recommend creating an "audition" folder) and when you find one that nails it or comes close with minor tweaks, then save it.
