Malman1000
Amplifi is crashing in the latest update on iPad os9 ,this would make the amplifi fx100 useless if I was gigging tonight , meaning that this bit of kit is worthless for stage work the very thing it was designed to do.. silverhead
Those who have automatic updates turned on, aware that Apple does not support iOS rollback, make their own bed. Line 6 has clearly stated that users should not upgrade yet. (Flame on.)

Right, because all IOS users should check with Line 6 before ever updating their devices, and all IOS users should expect to not be able to update to the latest version of the OS because one lame company can't get its act together after knowing of a major problem for over two months.

Line 6 has clearly stated that users should not upgrade yet. (Flame on.) That's a terrible statement to make. Line 6 knew about the update to iOS9 months ago! They have records of everyone who's purchased a Line AMPLIFii product by the warranty registration, but they couldn't take the time to forewarn consumers with an email to not update to iOS9. That's poor customer service.
joosterh
Did,nt see any warning, ill updated all my ios devices to 9. Can't use my amplifi75 any more, what a mess. Hope that they'll fix it quick.

usnavychiefret
If you have an Android device (phone or pad) there is a program you can download at: http://www.wondershare.net/ad/mobilego/?gclid=CPKitN6tkMgCFQUGaQodDNsHBw. I was able to transfer some of my music from iTunes to a Samsung Galaxy pad using this program. I have only had an hour experimenting with this so don't know all the ins & outs yet. I do know that it only allows you to transfer 10 songs without purchasing the program which I believe is $60.00. I have also been able to transfer my preset tones to the Android pad, I doubt if Line 6 will get the Apple app fixed anytime soon.
usnavychiefret
Apple just released and update to iOS9 (iOS 9.0.1) but still the same problems. It seems I can connect via bluetooth to the Amp and stream music to it but that's it.
ballbag
there should be a warning before update to iPad ,make ur own bed ur a smart lollipop dill i would say they will fix problem quick
Jdpalm
Line 6 didn't inform ANYBODY about this, especially new consumers who JUST BOUGHT a product that uses the IOS control system. VERY disappointed otherwise I would have waited to do the update!!!
Moderato
Hey what the hell? I go to play the Amplifi 150 today and it's not working? Reset the phone, try to do the Bluetooth thing again, complete waste of time. After raging for a bit my son checks it out and tells me it's not compatible with iOS 9??? Really???? Sure enough he sets it up with his iPod 5 and it works fine. To think I was actually considering buying a Helix....yeah OKAY. Time to start shopping tube amps and pedals, all I need is electricity. So pissed right now, can't use the product I paid for. Edit - What a joke and people want to talk about this thing being gig ready? I never really thought it was but after this now I'm just LMAO at the question.

guitarman001
Well it's a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is I use fbv shortboard programmed all me setting that I wanted in it. And now because phone can't hook up to because of os9. It's not freezing anymore played for 3 hrs no problem. But worried when they do fix os9 problem. The amp will be useless again. Let's hope they fix this problem. Faster then the blue tooth drop out problem there having for over a year now. Everywhere you look that's all you see about amplifi 150. Is blue tooth problems. And as for up dates for stagescape md20. Well not seeing anything on that. I would even pay for updates if they were what I needed. It's like they don't care. Almost at the point of selling all my line6 equipment. Because they don't keep up with them. It's like up what are we doing next and forget about us who believe in there product only to be fooled by line6. Know the old saying happy customer happy life and buy more line6 products

csabareti
The new version is really cool, it's a completely new user interface with a lot of ideas that makes the application easier to use. Now I understand the delay after the iOS 9 release: this version must have been in production for quite a while, far before the iOS release, and had to go through testing etc. Good that it arrived now! ttiitine
So, A user story: I once thought I'd be editing my favourite sound a bit or maybe download a new one... I hadn't updated my iOS (iPad2 retina) until now to 9.2. I started the remote app, then went for the update for Line6 Amplifi FX100 firmware since it noted that an update would be available. Right, so my iPad app was already the new one as it should have been before updating the actual Amplifi device. Once it had started the update a note saying "restart Amplifi FX100 device to continue update process" (or something similar) and I was supid enough to do so. After that I have never got to stay in the remote app for more than 5 seconds until it crashes and simultaneously I can see the BT connection dropping from the Amplifi FX100. And I haven't since. Step 2 (Fine! So that's how it is?) I then went and updated my FX100 with the PC upgrade usb -tool, calibrated the pedal and ran the factory reset. Then I took the iPad and "forgot the device" in the BT settings, made sure I hadn't the remote app running, turned BT back on, re-paired the iPad with the Amplifi FX100 and started the app... yup, iPad and its remote app goes lollipop up after 5 seconds or so. Step 3. Go to line6.com forums to read about the new iOS9.2 compatible app. Well... The remote app keeps crashing every time I pair the pad and the AmplifiFX100. I would really not prefer running factory reset also for my iPad, but I don't see if there are anything else anymore I can do. Is there? Does anyone know if iOS9.2.1 is supposed to properly clear the BT registry or bring any other favourable change? I'm running out of ideas here.
