Accuracy of knobs

This question is for line 6 primarily. How close did you guys aim to get with the various pots and knobs on the simulations -- not sound wise but actual taper and position. So if I need to set my master volume to 3 to get full tone on a particular amp should I be doing the same on the helix model. As an example of a different approach on the axe fx the master has a fairly linear taper so that adjustments are easier to make. Thanks!

Line 6's goal was to totally nail the sound and behavior of the amps, even to a fault. Where the original knob behaves in a nonlinear manner, so will Helix. If a certain real mic sounds horrible on a certain real amp at a certain distance, so will Helix.

Not suggesting that our approach is better, just that it's what we've decided to do.
