LucienR
Hi, I'm trying to use my pod hd pro x with a roland fc-300. When I use the exp pedals, there is a huge latency, I can't control a volume pedal or a wah smoothly. It's like instead of controlling values continuously, they shift suddenly, every second or so. What do you think the problem is? My foot controller works perfectly otherwise. Thanks in advance. Lucien
rd2rk
Get a MIDI Monitor so that you can see exactly what's being sent - MIDI-OX is great and FREE (unless you've got a MAC, then you'll have to search for a compatible MIDI Monitor). Without being able to see exactly what's being sent, we'd just be guessing - unless there's someone here who's had that exact problem? LucienR
Thanks for your answer. I'm on osx actually. I don't really get your point, I know what's being sent, it's just a MIDI signal, isn't it? If I send the MIDI from my footboard to my sound card and then to my pod it works just fine, but obviously I'd like to connect it directly to the pod. rd2rk
A MIDI signal consists of specific data. Whenever I troubleshoot a MIDI transmission problem I want to know what that data is. Obviously, the signal is getting messed up somewhere along the line, where and how? If the problem is in the POD, you'll need to contact Support, and they'll probably want to know this stuff.
