titchyblackcat
On my Pod HD Bean i've got quite a good pre set but need a bit more sustain for my liking. Any ideas for fx to do this please. My guitar is OK sustain wise but i'm just wanting a tiny bit more.
NucleusX
The main option for increased sustain, is a compressor before OD/Distortion or amp stages in the pre area. If this isn't enough for you, you might have to start thinking outside the POD for a solution.
ShelbyMustangGt
Maybe the Boost Comp in stock settings. It boosts and fattens the amp a little bit, bit that's not bad in most cases (sure, I wouldn't use it for super clean) For super clean use the tube comp. Nice and warm sound. duncann
The Red Comp is pretty good for extra sustain as NucleusX describes it to be used.

Metalchef
I use a Full tone OCD in the fx loop and place it in the pre position gain at about 10% and use the tone knob to add sustain. If you don't have a pedal I like the boost comp because it had the bass and treble adjustments.just my suggestion. I agree red comp is nice but can be a witch to dial in sometimes . billlorentzen
I use the LA2A "studio" compressor after the amp to increase sustain. It's a very common trick in studio mixing. If you're running much distortion, you will probably need a gate up front.
bvaladez74
Use the Tube drive and vetta juice (SPARINGLY)
