Pod Hd 500 Looping

I normally use a RC 300 for looping as i have a lot of pre-recorded tracks. When I use the HD 500 I can't seem to clear the loop recorded without turning the unit off and on - I'm sure I'm missing something - any help would be great

Thanks

Look here:

From the advanced guide, page 8.3:

Note: If you press REC/OVERDUB while Loop playback is stopped, this will always record a new Loop, and any previously recording will be discarded.

And I use the RC30 for looping, and it is ever so much better in every way.  Not surprising since it is a dedicated looper and this is no knock on the HD500's built in looper mind you.  But anyone into "serious" looping will bust through 48 seconds in no time flat (pun intended).

If you go into tuner mode, the stored loop will be erased. But really, it's hard for me to see why it's a big deal. The current is always overwritten as soon as you start recording a new one.

Hey Guys

My problem sound is not to be clear when I work on looper with my HD 500.How can I get real clear sound rthm & lead together.

Thanks

If your patches are stereo, you can run into some weirdness with a post looper....the looper buffer is mono and your post tone is summed mono...so the playback is always a bit different in that regard depending on the patch...If your looper is set pre, well that's your problem...
