biggreydog
I am interest in using the Aux input for inputing my computer or iPhone to play along with music. The Aux input gets processed with whatever patch I have playing on the Helix. 1] Where/How do I turn off the effect from the Aux input and 2] can I make this global so I do not have to turn it off for each patch separately? Elkinz
run it on a separate path to the guitar/bass patch you have and youre good to go :) that's why I do!
biggreydog
not sure how to do that and as the documentation is well.. somewhat lacking. I see how to set the individual audio path for a patch but beyond that I'm a bit lost.
biggreydog
I see where/how to create a parallel path, but I can only see how to do this for a single patch. If I need to change patches while I play a difference song, do I have to do this for every patch or is there a global command?
Elkinz
Hmm, I cant really comment on changing patches. I don't have a solution for that one! But I just plug my iPod into the AUX input, set path 2's input as Auxilary only, and path one as guitar. And lower the volume on the guitar because usually its way louder than my old ipod haha.
