Turn on one effect, turn another off?

Is there a way to link two effects blocks such that when you turn one on, the other goes off?

For example, I'd like to switch between two different distortions but don't want them both on at the same time.  Touching one's footswitch would turn the other effect off.

Thanks.

Yep, select one block and assign it to a footswitch.  Select another block and push BYPASS to turn the effect off and assign it to the same footswitch.

Now the footswitch will turn one on and one off each time it's pressed.  That same footswitch can do this with up to 8 blocks.

Hi

do you know if it's possible to make a footswitch switch off when you step on another one?

Currently, no.  However, there are a couple of IdeaScale submissions that address this.

The first one is closed to voting and "In Review".  It has 81 votes:

The second one is still open for voting and sort of related to your question:
