Expression Pedal problem on HD500X

Hello everyone! The Pod HD500X is working beautifully! Its more than I could ever ask! Just had one Question/problem. I have a show coming up and one of the songs needs a Wah effect. For the life of me I can't figure out how to switch the expression pedal between EXP 1 and EXP2. The handbook says to push in the toe end of it but It doesn't switch between EXP1 and EXP2. It seems like its stuck on EXP2. Any idea how to resolve this?

You need to press down really hard to activate the toe switch. You often can't do it while sitting down. You need to stand up and really push hard on the toe of the pedal. Don't worry - you won't break it.

silverhead is likely correct on your problem. But to provide another possibility. Check the assigments of exp1 and exp2 and pay close attention to which one the patch is set on the board itself. There is a little led light for EXP1 or EXP2 on the board itself that will switch. One is red the other green. Also, if you doing the patch on machine make sure you write it to the patch before you try it. I've had some odd behavior with the pedals in that aspect. If you getting odd behavior then just set the pedal on the device usually fixes that.

Do you have an external EXP hooked up? If you do, the toe switch only turns an effect on and off, it doesn't switch the function of the EXP.
