I have the most up-to-date and still got this message.  I am trying to load from the Mac version of Helix Editor, onto a new Helix LT with the 2.6 firmware and the newest Line6 updater.  Is it because I'm trying to load a Helix patch onto a Helix LT? I'm looking at some .hlx patches from the Line6 forum AS WELL AS third party ones from worshiptutorials.com

Thanks for any help

There is no difference if you load the patches into Helix or Helix LT. For me the problem was solved by installing the latest version of HX Edit.

I agree this definitely sounds like the problem. Upgrading to the 2.6 firmware necessitates downloading and installing HX Edit 2.6. As a matter of fact the firmware notes recommend doing a backup with HX Edit 2.6 before upgrading to the 2.6 firmware.
