Beat ya by 28 minutes, Colonel.    :P

Well done!! yeah, I figure that won't last long, and also should bode well for anyone on a Sweetwater pre-order?...

Hope everyone gets their Helix soon! I am crazy pysched for the new amp model and FX tomorrow, then I have a jam with the guys Friday, already have my L2t speakers over there and ready to go. :)

I hear ya.  Let me know how your upgrade goes, Colonel.  If indeed the new firmware is published tomorrow.  I am still on v1.03 -- too chicken to do any of the recent firmware upgrades with gigs pending.  I've got about 5 or 6 patches exactly the way I like them and didn't want to risk something awful happening.  Sometimes reading the forums actually scare me off from doing upgrades because you read the horror stories.

After this weekend, I've got a month off from gigs so I'll probably step up and do it then.  I'm also taking delivery of my 2nd Mission Expression pedal tomorrow. I'm going to make a pass at an "all-in-one" patch -- that is, dual amp models for clean/crunch, and program the 2 external expression pedals to alter a number of gain, EQ, Delay, reverb parameters in real-time.  Ambitious to think I could use one patch all night long, but not crazy about the patch switching delay ; alternatively, getting the levels right when using too many patches live is always a challenge too.  Ah.....first world problems.

Sweetwater is out of stock again !! Cabbage Patch dolls all over again !

I worked retail at a catalog showroom when they came out. Never seen anything like it before or since.

Somehow, word always got out that we had them. To see grown men in suits hurdling over gates and crawling under our security door to get in to buy one of those... insane... only in 'murica...
