Firehawk + PA: good for guitar and vocals?

Hi guys. Just wondering if it's possible to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. That is, I want to hook my Firehawk through a PA system, but can that also be used to run a microphone through for vocals? I was looking at something like this: http://goo.gl/6uCGHG

Basically, my set up would need to sound good in a room with drums, vocals and a bassist. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Yes. Connect your Firehawk L and R 1/4" outputs to channels 1 and 2 of the PA. Connect your mic to the channel 3 input (and another mic/device to channel 4 if you wish).

If you don't need Firehawk to run stereo you can use just one 1/4" output, meaning you have room for three other mics or mono devices.

EDIT: While I technically answered your question, I must agree with the subsequent posts below. This particular PA system will probably leave you disappointed.

Don't waste your time on that particular setup.  Pay a little more and get some quality powered speakers.  The Alto TS112a's would be much better and are reasonably priced.  You can always add a small mixer if needed.

A pair of Altos and a mixer will run you about $400 and you will be set.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I will go the Altos and mixer route - thanks radatats. I didn't know a new Firehawk was coming out, thanks mcbeddall - because I actually haven't bought mine yet! Will it be worth the wait?
