Helix Delay Has a Short Delay Echo compared to other Delay Pedals. Fixes?

So first off I love my Helix.  I really do and it works great for any job I have.  BUT.  I have a problem with the delay.  I feel like any model I use has a very short echo/trail.  I strike a note and it echoes back for about 2-3 seconds at the specified volume I have the mix set to, then it just trails off with you barely able to hear it.  I have set the feedback like at 55-70% and it does seem to really help.  I have my pedal set at the end of my chain.

Anyone else have this issue or am I just doing it wrong for some reason.  I feel like my HD delay had a longer echo...

Is there any chance you have the noise gate set too aggressively? This might cause the echo to cut out too early as the volume of the echos decrease.

Unless it is a bit of a red herring

If he has the input gate set too aggressively it will cut the originating note and possibly appear like there aren't enough repeats (when the problem is the originating note hasn't enough sustain)

Another thing to check might be if there is a gate set on the mixer, amp, or whatever you have the Helix plugged into. You might also want to check the that the mix setting is high enough as well as the previously suggested feedback control.
