kylotan 48 Posted September 19, 2017 I think some of the presets may have changed in recent versions, because I'm positive that my Helix bought a few months ago has a Deafheaven preset, but I don't see it in your list.
ppoceiro 9 Posted September 19, 2017 Anyone noticed that two of the most iconic rock guitar sounds are not there from what I can see. Where's Slash or AFD tone or any GNR sound? Where's AC/DC? And even tough they apparently maybe simple to tune, they can be tricky to spot on! Why is that? Or maybe the presets are there but in disguise. FlyingsCool 79 Posted September 19, 2017 I think some of the presets may have changed in recent versions, because I'm positive that my Helix bought a few months ago has a Deafheaven preset, but I don't see it in your list. Ā Yes, each release results in the removal of some presets and addition of others.Ā So if there are presets you like, it's a good idea to copy them to a user list and/or back up those presets. I'm pretty sure there is somebody out there who is keeping a comparative list from release to release.. Might be at HelixHelp.com Ā Anyone noticed that two of the most iconic rock guitar sounds are not there from what I can see. Where's Slash or AFD tone or any GNR sound? Where's AC/DC? And even tough they apparently maybe simple to tune, they can be tricky to spot on! Why is that? Or maybe the presets are there but in disguise. Ā Iconic to you perhaps, but we are too cool  Ā But, really, I KNOW there are some AC/DC in there, or at least there were, and I can't imagine there's not a GNR or two. Ā This is amazing. Let's try to name all of them and find a way to update the Helix with the real names.Ā Ā If you write out the presets individually, they are text files that can be edited.Ā Just make sure you don't use more than 16 characters for each name, and don't use any bad characters, and don't be surprised if the preset gets borked if you make an unintentional change elsewhere before you read it back in.Ā Ā There's always a factory reset if things go totally south... ;)
