Helix 4cm question

Hello there, I picked up a new Helix the other day and I am running it through my Egnater Renegade head using the 4cm.  I am pretty green with the whole 4cm and I am experiencing an strange issue.

I set up the Helix top path with a few effects and a send and a receive, no amp models or cabs, just using my amp distortion.  On my dirty channel when I start playing I am hearing 2 guitar sounds, 1 is distorted and 1 is clean?  I am not sure what I am doing wrong and I am not sure if the Egnater Renegade effects loops is series or parallel (if that even matters).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Or you can set the dry through on the send block all the way down.

Either way its just making it so you only get one signal going through instead of one going through the send/return and another going straight through and getting blended.

Try splitting the paths like this for more room. http://line6.com/customtone/tone/1604598/

Notice the output on path 1 is set to XLR to avoid and dry thru or double guitar signal issues.  There are a bunch of ways to go about doing the same thing.
