line 6 g 30 : 8 hours or not?

it depends on the batteries you are using. mine seems to last at least 6 hours

If I use Duracell Quantum batteries I get 6 - 8 solid hours if not more sometimes...I was using rechargeable and they didn't hold up nearly as well.

i used alcaline batteries but it was expensive so now i use rechargeable batteries but LINE 6 told me it was not good at all

 

and they do not recommend to use rechargeable batteries if i want to play some very  long hours (more than 2-3) with it

Also, if my memory serves me, there's a low-power mode if you're not going to be wandering too far from your pedalboard.

ryechua -good to know, haven't tried these.  the "low power" mode is easily accessable on the TBP12 (from the Relay G50/55/90 system) as part of the menu.  this usually bumps you from 8 hrs up to 10, but does compromise the strength of the output.  when in doubt - use the normal output mode.
