OblivionJones
I tried to search the forum to see if this had come up and found nothing. If it is already a thread and somehow I missed it, I'm sorry. I downloaded the drivers to the Helix so I can use it with Cubase (among other PC applications) and I can not locate the drivers on my PC at all after installation. I can locate the drivers to my old POD HD Pro X without trouble but the location of the Helix drivers eludes me. What have I done wrong? phil_m
I'm confused as to why you would actually need to know their location. As long as you've installed them and have the Helix connected, they should load automatically as soon as you connect your Helix. Or are you saying that you don't see the Helix listed as an audio device in Cubase?
OblivionJones
Yes. Sorry. That's what I'm saying. Cubase doesn't register it as an option like it did my POD previously.
phil_m
Does the Helix show up under the Device Manager in the Control Panel in Windows?
OblivionJones
It does not.
phil_m
It does not. Well, it sounds like your computer isn't recognizing the Helix at all... So I'm not sure. Perhaps try running the driver installer again, and after that try using different USB ports.
OblivionJones
I will give it a go. Thanks for your help.
OblivionJones
Sorry to be a bother but do you suppose it would be possible to run the Helix through an independent audio interface that Cubase can see the drivers from in the event that my other strategies don't work? Firewalker750
What if Helix does show up in device manager but does not show up in cubase?
