It shouldn't be updating anything by Bluetooth...Maybe you better download the flash memory firmware update on a Mac or PC. Firehawk comes with flash firmware version 1.01. You need to update to 1.20 immediately before you do anything else. Download the Line 6 Updater Utility software on your computer, install it, then get online and it will find and install the update... Don't try to update it with your iPad. Downlaod the Utility on a computer, then connect a USB cable to the Firehawk to install the 1.20 on the Firehawk FX.
