Yeah, I wish you could do the same with the Cab Sims but then my guess is that that would bring about the problem we had with preset switching delay. If you're using separate amp and cab blocks, and you have enough DSP, you could put multiple cab blocks in a preset and change their bypass state on a snapshot per snapshot basis. For the songs my band plays, I really only need 3 sounds max... a clean, a gain, and a boosted gain for leads. I add effects to taste and I like having my 8 stomps set up on my switches. Does the next song need a different gain sound? I just go to a different preset. I can see it is a great feature to have, though, and I am glad L6 is constantly improving the Helix.
