jwb63
I just received my Helix Rack and foot controller, and was interested in hearing from those who purchased an expression pedal for your set up. I do not play live; I bought the Helix Rack unit because all I do is record at home.... recording ideas/riffs/songs using Reaper. Which pedal(s) would you recommend? Thanks! spikey
Well, the Mission pedal for wah is the SP1-L6H, and it has the toe switch. I also use a Mission EP-1-L6 (without the toe switch) for other things as depth, speed, etc. Lots of people are also using an Ernie Ball volume pedal for (wait for it) volume control cause its got a wider and longer foot area and throw... I just hook it's output up to the remote and helix can see and use it. Hope this helps!

Paolo_Maina
If you only play at home. It's a waste of money a $200 expression pedal. I bought a Roland EV5 before Helix when I owned boss GT001. Now there is a polarity invertion in the global parameters and it works also with helix. You have to set minimun pot always to zero. So If you want to save your money...
peostone
I tried to use M-Audio EX-P pedal but it always worked backwards (heel down> max vol), the polarity switch did not change that. Does anyone know if it is possible to use this pedal?
