CHANGE TEMPO IN DRUM LOOPS

Hi all,

I have just purchased a Line6 Spider V 30 and I am quite disappointed first with the lack of information (in the beginning, nowhere was mentioned that 30W version had no 30 seconds looper, the only difference between models was supposed to be the wireless connectivity...) but there is a major issue that I think can be solved easily in future firmware updates... Why DRUM LOOPS cannot change tempo??... Even metronome tempo can be changed!!... It makes the Drum Loops completely useless...

Please Line6 Staff, consider this amendment and implement it.

Thanks!

This has been the most common request I have had from sales people and customers so far.  I agree that it raises the value of Spider V quite a bit as a useful practice tool. It would be worth adding the feature request to Line 6's idea scale submissions.

My favorite thing about Line 6 is that they do listen to their customer base.  It doesn't mean they can make every change on every product, but there are plenty of people out there who might want the same features as you.  It doesn't hurt to sound off.

I am so glad that I came on here to validate that I’m not crazy (well...) in thinking that I just could find the tempo for the drum loops.  How is it that something so basic as an ability to adjust tempo wasn’t considered.  Was there not a time shift processor to maintain drum tone?  I don’t get it, and it’s either a very dissaointing oversight (unlikely), or put the cost too far off their optimal price point and was deemed good enough (likely).
