Yes, you could get an external MIDI controller to do certain things - controlling the looper and changing snapshots are the two most obvious things. I suppose you could actaully set up external footswitches as controllers for parameters if you wanted to. One thing you can't necessarily do right now is turn individual effect blocks on and off. You can indirectly do that by controlling the footswitch they're assigned to.

You could use an external MIDI footswitch controller and program it to your specifications. But there is no plug'n'play Helix compatible pedal that I'm aware of.

Awesome! How do we toggle effects with an external midi controller? Do they still have to be assigned to one of the footswitches on the helix?
Hi all. I am new on here but I am desperate for some help.
Basically can you add extra footswitches to the helix?
I want to be able to control the looper and maybe a couple of stomp effects from a different location to the helix (just a few feet away)
Is there a pedal that can do this please?
